Dear friends, we are closing the project Post to Stop War in Ukraine with the conviction that it has fulfilled its mission to draw our Victory closer.

On behalf of the team, we want to thank all the volunteers who joined it, more than a hundred people since its launch. With their help, we implemented targeted menus of the most important messages for 43 countries in their languages, along with the visuals.

A special thank-you goes to everyone who stayed with us through the entire year: newspeople who monitored the informational space and crafted messages; all our translators (especially those who joined us even without knowing the Ukrainian language); illustrators, and the entire team that provided informational, promotional and technical support for the project.

During its time, the project reached 35,000+ unique users across all our channels. The content on the website was viewed over 25,000 times.
Germany, the United States, and Poland became the top-3 foreign countries with the most visitors. We presented the project at international forums and meetings: Nantes Creative Generation Forum 2022, Hybrid Forum (Sofia, Bulgaria), The M100 Sanssouci Colloquium (Potsdam, Germany), and Loyola University (Chicago). We also were featured in the documentary produced by the students of Standford University and Massachusets Technological Institute, which explored the volunteer initiatives during the times of the full-scale invasion.

The Russian culture has lost touch with the contemporary world a long time ago.

The works of Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Lermontov, and Pushkin still influence the perception of modern Russia by educated foreigners. Yet classic Russian literature glorifies and promotes the trends of the blossoming empires and dictatorships: endless wars, disregard for human rights, and sexism. Many Russians continue to use the narratives of their classics. Set expressions like "If he hits you, it means he loves you," "A woman's place in the kitchen," and "Great Russian people" are still popular in the Russian Federation. For ten months, Russians remain content with Putin's decision to "wage war against the collective West." It is way more convenient for them to believe that Russia could not build a prosperous state because it has been hindered by an external enemy who does not understand all the "mystery of the Russian soul" and seeks to destroy Russia. The truth is, Russian failures are due to their unwillingness to live in the modern world. They no longer create masterpieces that the world admires and are not trendsetters in art.

Leave the "great Russian culture" on the pages of history textbooks and perceive Russians as they are: war supporters and enemies of the Western world.

The Russian war is a catastrophe engineered by Putin and his accomplices.

Ukrainian law enforcement officers find many torture chambers in the territories liberated from the Russian army. Russians detained, tortured, and killed Ukrainian civilians there. Prisoners often wrote prayers on the walls of these rooms. They believed that a higher power would help them save themselves. Similar inscriptions are found among the rubble in Turkey after one of the most terrible earthquakes hit the country. In Turkey, a father was photographed holding the hand of his dead child for hours while its body was pulled from the rubble. People in Ukraine feel this pain. But in Ukraine, parents are holding hands with their children killed by the Russian shelling. Humans are not yet able to prevent earthquakes. However, they can stop the war.

Ukraine's partners should act quickly and decisively. More heavy weapons for Ukraine, and the Russian war will end sooner!

Russia established an analog of the Hi**er Youth in the occupied Ukrainian territories.

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine informed that the Russians are opening so-called cadet corps in the occupied territories. The aggressors force Ukrainians to send their children there. Russia has practiced this for over eight years in the occupied Crimea. Detachments of the "military-patriotic" organization called Youth-army also operate there. Russia created Youth-army in 2016; the organization includes approximately 1.25 million members aged 8-18. Youth-army teaches kids "to love Russia and be ready to fight with its enemies," including Ukraine and NATO. Modern Russia copies Hi**er's dictatorial regime in many ways. It took years and millions of victims worldwide to subdue German Na**sm.

History must not repeat itself, so Putin must be stopped now. Call on your governments to provide Ukraine with all the necessary military aid!

As the Russian war against Ukraine unfolds, Ukrainian mercy truly impresses.

The attitude of Ukraine's Armed Forces toward pets is a great example. Hundreds of videos circulating on social media show Ukrainian warriors feeding cats and dogs, allowing them to warm up in dugouts, and helping volunteers transport furry friends and other domestic animals to the rear. Their concern for the weakest proves the humanity of the Ukrainian army. Care is uncommon among Russian soldiers, who are willing to do anything to survive the war they started. Law enforcement officers found remains of eaten dogs at the locations where Russian troops were stationed. The Russian army wants to fulfill Putin's dream of recreating the Soviet empire. Ukraine refused to join this plan, and Russians want to destroy Ukraine, its people, and its animals for this.

Support Ukraine's desire to preserve its independence and support Ukrainian volunteer organizations!

In Ukraine, Russian soldiers created the biggest minefield in the world.

Its area is nearly 250,000 square kilometers – more than the territory of the United Kingdom or Romania. This way, Russians are trying to kill as many civilians in Ukraine as possible because it is civilians who most often step on landmines. Landmines not only hinder people's transportation but also cause severe problems for agriculture, which remains one of the main sectors of Ukraine's economy. The experts estimate it will take at least ten years to demine Ukraine.

Russia is a terrorist state that must be stopped. It is necessary to strengthen economic sanctions against Russians and provide Ukraine with more weapons.

The West must get rid of the guilt complex toward Russians.

Russian propaganda narratives about insufficient respect for Russians after the collapse of the USSR remain popular in a number of EU countries. Europeans think that if they respected Russians more, then Russians would not have started a war against the Western world by attacking Ukraine. Here a logical question arises: why should Russia be respected? For 30 years of independence, Russians have not created decent living conditions for themselves, although they have considerable deposits of natural resources. Russians failed to convince the world that their values and way of life were worth emulating. Drunkenness, aggression, domestic violence, disregard for human rights, and intolerance: this is Russia’s legacy over the past 30 years.

The Russians came to kill Ukrainians only because they do not like Ukraine's European integration. Russians believe that they can prevent an independent country from developing as it sees fit. People who commit such actions do not deserve respect, only condemnation and punishment.

Russia intentionally destroys Ukraine’s cultural heritage.

The UN estimates that in more than six months of the war, Russians damaged 199 cultural objects in 12 Ukrainian regions. Russian soldiers are purposefully shelling objects of cultural heritage throughout Ukraine. In early May, the Russian army deliberately fired a missile at the museum in the Kharkiv region dedicated to the outstanding thinker and philosopher Hryhoriy Skovoroda. Russian invaders are looting museums in the temporarily occupied territories. In particular, valuable collections were taken to Russia and occupied Crimea from the museums of Mariupol and Melitopol. More than 15,000 pieces were stolen from museum exhibits in the Kherson region alone. The looting of Ukrainian museums and cultural institutions is a large-scale Russian crime. Destroyed landmarks are lost forever, and stolen unique artifacts may never return. Just imagine the looted Louvre or the bombed Colosseum.

If Russians are not stopped in Ukraine, they will destroy and loot cultural heritage worldwide.

The art world supports Ukraine in this war.

Ukrainians are now a nation of heroes. They are skillful warriors, tireless volunteers, and highly efficient utility workers. Ukraine’s fight for independence during Russia’s energy terror found a representation in the works of the DC studios. Their comic book series “Stormwatch” now has a new superhero, Ukrainian Pavlo the Core Stupka. He is 52 but looks 16; the superhero is a “living nuclear generator” and can fly. This creative decision is quite fitting, given that Ukrainians see the character as a direct representation of their contemporary superheroes. Air defense operators are making the most of the insufficiently powerful air defense system, and Ukrainian energy engineers are repairing destroyed networks around the clock. Ukraine is making every effort to expel Russians from Ukrainian land.

Unfortunately, Ukrainian superheroes are paying for freedom with their lives. Do not forget to support Ukraine! According to the laws of all genres, good must defeat evil!

Ukrainians celebrate the liberation of every village and town, but they are also anxious about it.

Every place Russian soldiers have been to turns into a mass grave or a torture site. Bucha, Irpin, Izyum, Lyman, Kherson. The Russian army tortures, kills, and illegally deports Ukrainians and their children to Russia. Ukrainians sing the national anthem and hug Ukrainian soldiers. They also prepare to testify against the Russian crimes, to cope with the consequences of the Russian occupation, and to learn about the tragic fate of relatives and friends. All Russians, from politicians and generals to soldiers and ordinary citizens who support the war, must be held responsible for what they committed in Ukraine.

Support Ukraine’s victory and a fair trial of the aggressors! If the evil remains unpunished, it will return with double force.

The war makes people less tolerant.

It is both physically and mentally exhausting. People experience grief, fear, fatigue, and intense anxiety. The influx of emotions prompts some people to seek a scapegoat to release negativity. As the war drags on, the stress level increases, and the ability to understand the opinions, decisions, and needs of others decreases. Ukrainian and Western societies might observe these processes right now. Those who remained in Ukraine and residents of other countries perceive the Ukrainians who went abroad as the lucky ones. The general level of dissatisfaction and aggression increases. Russians reinforce the manifestations of such human emotions through their informational and psychological operations. War is a difficult time. But if most people keep supporting and not condemning others, Putin and Russia will never win. In addition, emotionally mature and resilient people will rebuild their lives faster after the war.

As the famous Ukrainian poet Lina Kostenko said, “There is so much grief in the world, so people, let’s be mutually beautiful!”

Despite the crumbled infrastructure, Ukrainians rejoice to be free from the Russian occupation.

One of the vivid examples is the liberated Kherson, a regional capital in the south of Ukraine famous for its watermelons, the nearest administrative center to Crimea. Kherson has been under Russian occupation since March 2022. The Russians demanded submission from the Khersonians. Those who refused to cooperate with occupiers were often tortured, killed, and had their relatives kidnapped. After the city's liberation, experts identify bodies found in dozens of mass graves, just like in Bucha and the Kharkiv region. When the Russians were retreating from the city, they destroyed many critical infrastructure facilities. Despite so much grief, the people of Kherson are still happy that they once again live at the Ukrainian territory. People are digging up Ukrainian flags buried in the ground during the occupation and tearing down Russian propaganda posters. The arrival of Ukrainian troops for them meant the end of fear and the prohibition of a free life. Residents of Kherson stand in queues for hours at Ukrainian supermarkets and volunteer hubs, yet, they rejoice at Ukrainian goods and aid.

Ukrainians are strong people, but without the support of the world, they will not be able to manage the consequences of the Russian invasion. Stay with Ukraine till its victory!

The Russian war shows the fundamental difference between Ukrainians and Russians.

Russians are used to having the "tsar-ruler" decide everything for them. He must give them something, provide them with comfort, and tell them what to do. Russia destroys Ukraine's energy infrastructure, counting on Ukrainians to demand that Ukraine's president immediately brings back all benefits of the civilization. The Russian logic presumes sitting down at the negotiating table and ceding territories to Russia. It will give Russia time to recover and start a new war. Building a new empire is the cherished dream of Russia's dictatorial regime. Instead, Ukrainians have always decided everything at the community level. So now, the Ukrainian community agrees that it would rather give up the comfort to preserve their country's independence. Ukraine's leadership must execute this will. Ukrainians do not expect the authorities to magically restore the country's full energy supply. Business owners and communities buy generators and Starlinks at their own expense. Ukrainians share life hacks on how to survive without electricity, water, and heat. They help those in difficult circumstances and do not expect reimbursement from the state budget. They know state funds should primarily go toward Ukraine's Armed Forces.

Ukrainians show the world that democracy and freedom are more important than a comfortable life. Help Ukraine stand against the war with Russia!

Temporarily displaced Ukrainians work instead of merely "relying on social assistance" — statistical data from early November 2022 proves it.

For example, 650,000 temporarily displaced Ukrainians in Poland are already employed. About 46,000 people found jobs in the Netherlands, which is more than 80% of Ukrainians who fled to this country because of the Russian war. More than 40% of Ukrainian refugees in Great Britain also have jobs. Ukrainians are not "a burden to the budget of Western countries," as Russian propaganda claims. On the contrary, they help the European economy grow. The language barrier is the main obstacle for many Ukrainians who want to work in a new country. But over time, this issue dissolves, and temporary migrants are increasingly covering the deficit in the labor market of many EU countries.

The war will end, and many Ukrainians will return home, but until then, they will support the economies of Western countries. Support Ukrainians until Russia finally loses its war. Ukrainians will thank you with all their hearts!

Ukrainian companies are successfully entering the Western market.

The Russian war significantly weakens Ukraine's economy and forces some Ukrainian companies to look for new business opportunities. A survey of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses by the European Business Association showed that 30% of respondents plan to export goods and services abroad. Some companies are already opening their offices there. For example, the private Ukrainian postal operator Nova Poshta (New Post) opened its branches in Poland. The popular Ukrainian fast-food chain "Lviv Croissant" also expanded its network to Poland. Dozens of IT companies are launching operations in Europe and the U.S. Ukrainians are experts in customer service and high-quality goods and services.

Buy from Ukrainians – not only will you support Ukraine's economy in a difficult time, but you will also help withstand a brutal war with Russia.

The alive Ukrainians are as alive as ever.

Despite the war, people in Ukraine try to joke, enjoy life, and stay optimistic. While the Russian military hits Ukrainian cities with missiles, the residents of these very cities hide in bomb shelters and mock their enemies' ineptness. Ukrainian social media are full of hundreds of jokes and memes about the war. Kyiv residents began jokingly preparing for a mass o**y in response to the nuclear threats. In addition to the protective reaction of the human psyche to critical stress, Ukrainians understand that every day can be their last. Therefore, they share sentimental stories from their childhood, declare their love, and show amusing photos of their children. Many people started to do what they always dreamed of, got a dog or a cat, and made sure to spend more time with friends and relatives. Daily risk and constant struggle on the verge of life and death force people to reevaluate and stop postponing life. Ukrainians will feel the greatest joy on the victory day when Russia answers for the crimes it committed.

Russia can use the Orthodox Church for subversive activity in Europe.

Over the past five years, the Russian Orthodox Church has been purchasing real estate in the West. In particular, it bought properties in Norway: some are located near the Haakonsvern military bases, and some – in Kirkenes, a few kilometers from the border with Russia. The purposes, besides the religious ones, for the Russian priests to use this real estate remain unknown. In Ukraine, for example, the Russian Orthodox churches stored Russian weapons and hid militants before the full-scale war. Many priests cooperated with the occupiers and assisted them. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Security Service of Ukraine has opened 23 criminal proceedings against the priests of the Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine. Charges range from classic intelligence gathering to helping Russians adjust their artillery strikes on Ukraine. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill, openly supports the war against Ukraine.

Let's keep in mind that the Russian church is the provider of Putin's regime.

Russia changed the Ukrainian way of life forever.

On February 24, Russians divided Ukrainians into those who stayed in Ukraine and those who left the country. Both groups are now trying to adapt to the new realities of life. They must survive, provide for a family in a new country, educate children, and take care of their mental health. Ukrainians want to return to normal, pre-war life. However, this will never happen because of Russia. After major wars, nations recover for at least two subsequent generations. Economic recovery takes years. The cruel and completely senseless war that Russians unleashed on the territory of Ukraine forces Ukrainians to pay a high price for the preservation and restoration of life later. Russia made the wrong conclusions after the end of the Second World War. Because of Russians, Ukrainians, together with the rest of the world, are experiencing a war-provoked crisis. Russia must be punished for crimes against humanity and pay reparations.

Since the beginning of the war against Ukraine in 2014, Russia has constantly been spreading aggressive propaganda.

Russian propagandists actively share fakes about Ukrainians, falsify and appropriate Ukrainian history. Putin has repeatedly stated that the Ukrainian nation does not exist. Since February 24, 2022, propaganda has reached a new level: the Russian media directly call for a “resolution of the Ukrainian issue”, and TV presenters openly call for “killing Ukrainian children.” Propaganda is also a weapon that kills. Hate speech has always been an essential tool in wars. The aggressor needs it to justify one’s aggressive actions and keep public support. Since the Second World War, the actions of propagandists have been classified as international crimes. Incitement to genocide or crimes against humanity received the highest degrees of punishment. Two N**i propagandists were tried at the Nuremberg Trials, one of whom was executed. Neither killed anyone, but they played a significant role in the mass killing of civilians. The Russian media lie and incite the killing of civilians, and they are a threat not only to Ukrainians.

Any nation can become a target of propaganda. Russian propagandists must answer for spreading lies in an international court.

Russia tries to persuade the world that it is a victim, not an aggressor.

To do this, Russians sow countless lies such as “preemptive strike on Ukraine which planned to attack Russia” and “protection from NATO that wants to destroy Russia using Ukrainians.” “Ukraine plans to use a “dirty bomb” of its own production” is the newest lie. To make the Western world believe in this, Shoigu, Russia’s Minister of Defense, personally called defense ministries of various countries. However, Russia has long lost the trust of the global community, given that Russia’s official statements are tales reinforced by domestic propaganda. It is not difficult to check that Russia is lying. Ukraine has invited an IAEA mission to check the condition of all facilities that, according to Russia, are involved in producing a radiological bomb. Russia uses this narrative to make the world distrust Ukraine. However, it only achieves the opposite, since you can always verify Ukrainian statements, unlike Russian ones.

Ukraine is a civilized European state that wants to live in peace. Do not trust Russians and help Ukrainians!

Russia cannot defeat Ukrainians on the battlefield, so it terrorizes civilians.

Russian missiles target energy infrastructure all over Ukraine. As of mid-October, they managed to bring down more than 40% of the country's energy facilities. These strikes bring destruction and death to the deep Ukrainian rear, but they do not affect the situation at the front in any way. Russians are trying to cause a humanitarian catastrophe to kill even more civilians. To spread panic among Ukrainians, they use destruction, mass casualties, electricity and heating cut-offs. After all, the looming winter is Putin's last hope in the war against Ukraine.

To protect themselves against Russian terror, Ukrainians need air defense systems. Without them, the country faces more destruction, many victims, and a cold winter.

The Russian war fundamentally changed the geopolitical mood of Ukrainians.

Ukraine’s largest river, Dnipro, divides the country into the Eastern and the Western parts. Before the war, most residents of the Eastern part, which was once colonized by the Russian empire, were more tolerant toward Russia. The Western part, on the other hand, had more pro-European views as its territories once belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the Polish Commonwealth. Ukrainian sociology reflected similar sentiments: according to the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology, in 2020 and early 2021, 41% of respondents had a good attitude toward Russia, and 42% had a bad one. After the start of the full-scale Russian war, the situation changed: according to the sociological group “Rating”, 86% of respondents support Ukraine's accession to the EU, and 83% support accession to NATO. Ukrainians do not consider themselves a formal or informal part of Russia and want to preserve their country’s independence. This shows the manipulations behind public figures talking about the possibility of “peaceful” negotiations as Russia keeps occupying Eastern and Southern regions and attempts annexing these regions. The world wants the crisis caused by the Russian war to end as soon as possible. However, surrendering parts of Ukrainian territories to Russia will stimulate the aggressor to continue the war. For Russia, “peaceful” plans are a manifestation of weakness, which will eventually encourage Russians to start new conflicts. Russia must lose the same way the German Third Reich lost. This is the only thing that will stop the war and the crisis. Do not believe Russia's provocative statements and support Ukraine!
