The situation regarding the Russian invasion, June 27, 2022, Day 124

✍️ The enemy has been carrying out a full-scale armed aggression on the territory of Ukraine for one hundred and twenty-four days. The defenders of Zaporizhzhia region hold the lines and protect our land from the occupants.

🪖 In the direction of Zaporizhzhia the situation didn’t undergo any significant changes over the past 24 hours. The enemy concentrates its main efforts on holding the occupied positions.

💣 Over the past 24 hours the enemy carried out 45 shellings of the positions of Ukrainian defenders using artillery and MLRS
along the entire contact line.

🚗 During the past day civilian population was evacuated from the temporarily occupied territory. A total of 690 people, including 163 children, were evacuated.

📍 In their instructions to personnel concerning information behavior on the territory of Ukraine, the occupants recommend that their subordinates strictly adhere to certain rules. In addition to standard bans on posting photos, the occupiers are recommended to encrypt phone numbers, transforming one of the digits into a certain quantity of ones, the invaders are forbidden from using different messengers, they are advised to be as guarded as possible during their conversations. This would seem to be a standard set of prohibitions and recommendations. But among them there are those ones which are characteristic only of occupation forces fighting on foreign land. In particular, Russian information security instructors recommend not to take food from local population, not to give your real name, to hide your face from surveillance cameras. The conclusion sounds like this: "If you screwed up, try not to leave local witnesses."

🎞 The occupants, realizing that they are committing violence and lawlessness, try not to be caught on CCTV and try to get rid of witnesses of their criminal actions. All this shows that occupation forces are afraid of publicity and documentation of their activities.

We invite the partner countries to sign a multilateral agreement and create a mechanism through which each and every one who has suffered from Russia's actions will be able to receive compensation for all losses. Under such an agreement, Russian funds and property under the jurisdiction of partner countries must be seized or frozen, and then confiscated and directed to a specially created fund from which all victims of Russian aggression can receive appropriate compensation. That would be fair. And Russia will feel the true weight of every missile, every bomb, every projectile it has fired at us.

💥 The occupiers are mining Ukrainian land with their latest anti-personnel mines POM-3 "Medallion".

Cases of using mines with a seismic target sensor have been recorded in Kharkiv region. Russian invaders use them for remote mining of the region.

The mine is equipped with an electronic seismic sensor that receives a signal of ground vibration and provides detonation if the amplitude of the oscillation corresponds to human footsteps. After that, the combat part of the mine flies to a height of about one and a half meters and explodes.

The use of POM-3 mines is permitted by the Ottawa Convention on the Prohibition of Anti-Personnel Mines, as they are instruments of indiscriminate warfare. Such mines are produced only in Russia.

The occupiers' actions violated the Protocol to Prohibit or Restrict the Use of Mines, Traps and Others to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, and relating to the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts.

I call on the international community to respond to the use of illicit weapons by the occupying country and to strengthen sanctions in order to completely stop military aggression by the Russian Federation

Thanks to the skilful actions and capabilities of the Joint Forces Operation's warriors, 5 (five) russian enemy attacks have been successfully repulsed during the current day.

Our soldiers inflicted losses on the russian occupiers.

Today, March 27, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 2 tanks, an infantry armoured personnel vehicles and an enemy car.
In total, units of the Joint Forces repulsed 63 russian enemy attacks this week.

Ukrainian troops destroyed russian's enemy: 80 tanks, 72 armoured personnel vehicles, 48 vehicles, 19 artillery systems, 7 unmanned aerial vehicles, 14 aircraft, a helicopter and an enemy patrol boat.

Also, the Joint Forces eliminated the modern russian electronic warfare system "Leer-3" and captured five BMP-3 of russian occupiers.

Ukrainian warriors continue to bravely and heroically restrain the russian aggressor's invasion!

😱 “We said that we are unarmed, but the Russian soldier started shooting at us.” The story of the injured 14-year-old boy who witnessed his father’s murder 👇

🔻14-year-old Yura Nechypurenko and his family lived in Bucha, a city in Kyiv Oblast. Yura was the youngest of the three brothers. The city of Bucha is in the midst of a humanitarian crisis: Yura’s family home had no gas, electricity, or water for over two weeks.
On March 17, Yura and his father went to the city center hoping to get some humanitarian aid and medicine.

🔻“We were riding bicycles when the Russian soldier turned around the corner of the nearest house. We stopped, raised our hands, and said we had no weapons. But the soldier started shooting at the boy’s father, and he fell to the ground. Then the military started firing at me, two bullets hit my hand. I fell too. The soldier shot me into my hood, but his bullet missed my head,” Yura said.

🔻The child stayed on the ground for several more minutes, and when the soldier left, he rushed to the nearest shelter, where he received the first medical aid. Then the boy got home and told his family that his father had been killed. His, father, Ruslan was just 47 years old.
🔻For two days, the family could not pick up the father's body. When they finally did, they noticed that there no longer was the white bandage on his hand, identifying him as a civilian. In addition, Russian soldiers snatched his phone, wallet, and even the keys to the house. The victim's wife says that the shots were purposely fatal: the father was shot in the heart and head. The family had to bury their father on their own, in the backyard of their house.

🔻"My three sons lost their father. I understood that I had to get out of there and save the children and myself as soon as possible. We were told that there would be a "green corridor" on March 19, but we had to get to the meeting point on our own. We were walking down the street where my husband was shot and prayed for our lives every second. We heard explosions nearby, we were been stopped by Russian murderers. We were ready to say goodbye to our life at any second,” said Alla Nechepurenko, the victim's wife and the mother of the family.

🔻The family miraculously evacuated to the Cherkasy region, and yesterday arrived at Ohmatdyt to treat their son and get the official record of his injuries. The boy was shot in the arm, forearm, and finger. The child's life is not in danger.

💥 The war in Ukraine has delivered a shock to global energy markets. Now the planet is facing a deeper crisis: a shortage of food.

A crucial portion of the world’s wheat, corn and barley is trapped in Russia and Ukraine because of the war, while an even larger portion of the world’s fertilizers is stuck in Russia and Belarus. The result is that global food and fertilizer prices are soaring. Since the invasion last month, wheat prices have increased by 21%, barley by 33% and some fertilizers by 40%.

The upheaval is compounded by major challenges that were already increasing prices and squeezing supplies, including the pandemic, shipping constraints, high energy costs and recent droughts, floods and fires.

“Ukraine has only compounded a catastrophe on top of a catastrophe,” said David M. Beasley, the executive director of the World Food Program, the United Nations agency that feeds 125 million people a day.
