The Carpathians: Vika Adamska presents her winter capsule collection
The latest drop from the brand VIKA ADAMSKAYA draws inspiration from the beauty and strength of the Ukrainian Carpathian Mountains. Those who have ever visited the Ukrainian Carpathians understand and feel the power of these majestic peaks. The incredible landscapes, the breathtaking nature in all its forms, the unforgettable energy, the unique mysticism, the harmony, the tranquility, and the grandeur... One could endlessly describe the beauty of the Carpathians. These mountains are timeless, eternal, and they inspire and empower those with open hearts.
The capsule collection, named “The Carpathians,” offers a stylish winter wardrobe that is contemporary and meticulously designed in every detail. The mountain motif is featured on comfortable hoodies through prints and tonal embroidery. The collection includes warm checkered shirts, sporty tracksuits, and long-sleeved tops paired with leggings, perfect for both mountain adventures and city winters. This trend is actively embraced by Hollywood celebrities who confidently step out in leggings and oversized sweaters.
“The Carpathians” also presents a range of accessories, including puffer boots with the patented ice track sole technology, created in collaboration with the brand Emmelie Delage. The collection also includes warm socks, beanie hats, scarves, drink bottles, and blankets with “The Carpathians” print, which can be worn as ponchos or used as home decor. A particular highlight is the special herbal tea created by VIKA ADAMSKAYA, capturing the warmth, coziness, and living in the moment that the Carpathians represent.

Miami, December 6-10, 2023 — Ukrainian architect and designer Victoria Yakusha, winner of the Best Stand at Design Miami/Basel 2022, is presenting her limited collection “Earth of Light” in Miami.
This extraordinary collection was born in dark times — at the beginning of a full-scale war, when external supports were crumbling and one had to rely solely on their own strength. Victoria Yakusha unveiled her inner light, creating a collection that symbolizes strength and belief in goodness during times when they are needed most.
“Earth of Light” is a collection of guides that help navigate through darkness. Each creation has its unique superpower:
Skylark: With a long neck, it sees beyond the clouds and helps uncover dreams.
Multileg: Accelerates processes, frees from fears, and encourages action.
Sunray: Fills with joy and tranquility, giving a sense that everything will be alright.
Longear: It hears your thoughts and helps separate them from social pressure.
To make these creatures fulfill their function, one must interact with them: love, touch, and believe.
Victoria Yakusha remains committed to environmentally friendly, 100% natural materials. In 2018, Yakusha developed her signature material called ZTISTA. It is an innovative blend of cellulose, clay, flax fiber, wood shavings, and biopolymer coating. All these components allow for a closer connection to nature. The material fully composts in moist soil.
As part of Design Miami, Victoria Yakusha will participate in the discussion “Healing Through Design” on Friday, December 8, from 14:00 to 15:00 at the Discussion Theater. Led by Design Miami Curator Anna Karnik, the discussion will also involve ceramicist Andile Dyalvane and designer Nifemi Marcus-Bello.
