“In The Eyes of the Sons,” directed by Kostyuk, is a short film that explores the severed relationship between a father and his two sons, whose bond is as fragile as a thin sheet of ice: strong enough to bear cautious steps, yet ready to shatter under the weight of a harsh word or more intense emotion.
Svyatoslav kindly gave me the freedom to blend organic and electronic instruments and to craft a soaring, memorable main theme for the end credits. Feel free to follow the link in my bio to listen to this short album when you have a moment. I hope you enjoy it!

When you’re writing music for a film, the story is always the most crucial element of the entire process, and music (and by extension its composer) naturally blends into the background. Dwelling in the shadows is comfortable, but from time to time it’s rewarding to share your work with the world. So lately I’ve decided to make a habit of releasing more of my music and to try doing this regularly. In two days, my 4‑track soundtrack album with music for the short film “In the Eyes of the Sons,” which I worked on a couple of years ago, will finally hit streaming platforms. So, in the proud tradition of self‑promoting musicians, I’d like to take a couple minutes of your time today to brag about it, in hopes that you’ll remember to come back on Friday and give it a listen :-)

“Animals in War” will premiere at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. Thank you, SOTA Cinema Group, producers Oleg Kokhan and Oleksiy Makukhin, and director Maksym Tuzov for the opportunity to write music for this important movie! It’s an honor to see my name next to Sean Penn, Myroslav Slaboshpytskiy, and other legends of the Ukrainian and world cinema.

Here’s the blockbuster song about cossacks by a super-talented Ukrainian artist Jerry Heil that I got an honor to produce. A 1-minute demo of this song that was posted about a month ago has already gone viral and gained over 4M views on Instagram and TikTok combined.
