At the start of June, 3PEOPLEMUSIC unveiled a fresh set of promotional images, capturing the unique spirit of this boundary-pushing chamber ensemble. Known for reimagining musical traditions through cross-genre collaborations and contemporary showcases, the trio continues to redefine what chamber music can be.

With past performances spanning South Korea, India, Japan, 's Kunstfest Weimar, and even the 2024 Paris , their global presence speaks for itself.

This unique project was born from their meeting at the 2024 World Music Festival ( ), where they first showcased the powerful fusion of modern electronic beats with traditional Indigenous melodies.

Paiwan singer-songwriter 戴曉君 Sauljaljui has just released the third music video from her critically acclaimed album VAIVAIK.

The song, “sinisanparavac (Dazzling Beyond Compare),” is inspired by her close-knit circle of female musician friends who live authentically and create fearlessly.

It expresses admiration and yearning for the radiant spirit of sisterhood, brought to life through the distinctive rhythms of the yueqin and layered percussion, creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere.

在女巫店的共演音樂會隔天，加拿大／香港創作歌手 Tennyson King 與台灣音樂家陳崇青，一同於 ONYX JAZZ CLUB 舉辦共創音樂工作坊並進行演出。

此次工作坊除了分享兩位音樂家各自的音樂歷程外，陳崇青也深入探討「國樂」在當代音樂中的定位與演變，並邀請同為傑出中阮演奏家的江浩綦，一同共演改編曲目🎶Tennyson King 則談到他與中阮邂逅的故事，以及創作背後的靈感來源🪩

有趣的是，在最後的 Q&A 時間，觀眾也提出問題，詢問在音樂流派快速變遷的當下，如何將這樣的跨界經驗應用於教學實踐。兩位音樂家透過真誠的分享與現場互動，帶領觀眾進行了一場穿越古典與現代、傳統與創新的音樂時空之旅☄️🔮🚀

Cross-Genre Journey of the Zhongruan: A Workshop of Pop Lyricism and Classical Innovation

The day after their collaborative concert at Witch House, Canadian-Hong Kong singer-songwriter Tennyson King and Taiwanese musician Chung-Ching CHEN held a co-creation music workshop and performance at ONYX JAZZ CLUB🎶

In addition to sharing their individual musical journeys, Chung-Ching delved into the evolving role of traditional Chinese music in contemporary contexts. She also invited fellow distinguished zhongruan musician Hao-Chi Chiang to join her in performing rearranged pieces. Tennyson King shared the story of how he first encountered the zhongruan and the inspiration behind his songs.

Interestingly, during the final Q&A session, an audience member asked how such cross-genre experiences could be integrated into music education in an era of rapid stylistic change. Through open sharing and meaningful interaction, the two musicians led the audience on a brief but inspiring journey through the worlds of classical and modern, traditional and innovative music.
