We are performing at Calgary tonight! Come funk with us!
Just a bit of spur of the moment fun!
Overdubbing guitar solos is the best part of making rock and roll music. Never met a guitarist who wasn’t a perfectionist in this area.
Temple smoke live in Tainan. New album on the way!!! 👾👾👾
Hardware compressors allow for a lot more aggressive compressing without sounding robotic. Normally I wouldn’t use the la2a style compressor in this way but it was fun to use as an example on the whole drum kit. “In Parallel” just means that the effected signal is blended with the dry signal so that where before there was one signal there are now two at the same time.
Eric tracking vocals for “Good Time Charlie” which will appear on the upcoming debut album by Tainan based rock band “Temple Smoke”. Fantastic to work with a singer with so much control and power in their voice! We are using a Shure SM58 to capture the classic clean vocal sound and blending with a rare harmonica microphone for a more distorted and characterful sound. It was easier to improvise the double mic stand than mess around with two different ones in this case! Can’t wait to share the finished track!
