Antique Snap-On Ratchet Restoration

Antique Snap-On Ratchet Restoration.
In this video I restore this Rusty Snap-On ratchet from 1945.
I started this restoration with disassembly as much as possibly.
Started by polishing the screws and the On / Off "switch" after that i moved on with the ratchet itself.
To remove all the rust i tried electrolysis for the first time and it worked really well.
Then i moved on with a lot of grinding, sanding and polishing to get a nice shiny results and it turned out really awesome.
All small parts and some areas of the ratchet got a cold blueing treatment, both for looks and rust protection.
After i completed the assembly i gave the ratchet a layer of automotive wax only for some extra rust protection.

100-year-old 'Chicago' Automatic Pencil Sharpener Restoration

This “Chicago” pencil sharpener was made by the Automatic Pencil Sharpener Co. (“ASPCO”) Division of the Spengler-Loomis Mfg. Co in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Twenty-one years of patents are shown on the shaving canister, ranging from 1900-1921. The "Chicago" design in particular was most popular in the 1910's and 1920's. The “Chicago” brand was just one of many pencil sharpeners produced by APSCO. Others included the “Dexter”, “Dandy”, “Junior”, “Giant”, and “Wizard”. While all the sharpeners were manual crank-style, they were marketed as “automatic” because the blades would stop cutting automatically when the pencil reached a perfect point.

Restoration of a rusted and broken scale from 1908

Hello friends, I found this antique scale in a junkyard. It dates back to 1908. It was completely broken and some of its parts were missing. Also, its body is rusted, considering that I am into old and antique items and especially old scales. I am very interested, I decided to completely restore it and make it usable. I hope you enjoy watching this video and find it useful. Thank you for your cooperation

In today's video, I'm restoring a manual hand drill, I did some research on it I think it might be from the 1980s. I bought it in Ukraine at some flea market and thought it would make a good restoration video. As you could see at the end of this video, the drill has a hole in its handle for storing drill bits

How To Restoration Optimus 48 Is A 1.75 Made In Sweden [1915]

Hello friends, this time I restored an antique Optimus that was made in 1915. The external condition of this Optimus was very hot and the upper part was covered with dandruff. I completely restored it and since the parts of this device are very difficult to obtain, I could not get a new tripod for it and make a tripod for it and from the part I used a picnic capsule burner for the flame. I used this Primus. I hope you enjoy watching this video. Thank you for watching.

An Intro to The Ambiance Project:

The Ambiance Project(TAP) is a NGO designed to bring environmental harmony and equilibrium to Trinidad and Tobago. It was officially incorporated in March 2019.

The Managing Director, Deryck Dhanie, was influenced to create an organization to work within TnT because of the endemic problem we face. The entire country is covered in garbage. Throughout this beautiful twin island nation, trash pervades every corner, crevice and sanctum. It is clear the agencies responsible for ensuring our environment is well maintained are unable to perform their duties in a manner which ensures our Environment is well taken care of. The sheer volume of the task is mammoth and they are under-resourced for it.

TAP saw that they require assistance, that there is a void in both the physical and educational resources available. Through the tools TAP has access to, we believe that we can make a contribution, firstly by collecting the garbage, secondly, by recycling/upcycling some of the garbage and thirdly by educating our school children.

TAP has the rights to the SeaBin, which enables us to work with The Seabin Project. This is a very creative and innovative solution to garbage in our waters. It collects garbage floating in the water on a 24/7 basis. From this, we will ensure the garbage is sent to recycling centres. However, even more so, this project enables us through The Global Ambassador Programme (GA’s) to educate our school children. They are more involved in the collecting of the trash, sorting, weighing and then uploading this data to an international database, and thus becoming GA’s. This programme asks them also to return to their schools, their friends and families, in turn educating them about the garbage, the volumes, the dangers and hopefully, we can transform more and more of our population into more Environmentally Literate people.
