I Dream of Calypso!- A Fun New Film Launches🎥🎞

Everyone is all up in their feelings with the launch of the new local film- ‘I Dream of Calypso’. Set to commemorate T&T’s 60th Independence anniversary this year, the film promises to bring a belly full of laughs and then some. Taking a trip down memory lane to the 1990’s, this story follows a typical Trini family as they prepare for an Easter Sunday Service. Throw into the mix a Pastor, a wannabe fashionista and a shy girl who dreams of singing calypso on a big stage. What could possibly go wrong?

I Dream of Calypso is the second place winner of the 2021 FilmTT Short Pitch Competition and is a recipient of a $10, 000 grant in developmental funding.

The film will go into production soon, look out for more fun updates!
