Etheric cords are energetic cords that are created when two people connect with one another. The deeper the relationship, the stronger the cord. Through every interaction, thought, emotion triggered, and intimate moment - the cord continuously grows.

Etheric cords act like hoses, with energy directed back and forth between both people. When the cord is healthy, it can create a vibrant, energetic source exchange but when the cord is unhealthy, it can often lead to feeling controlled, unhappiness in the relationship, and an uneven exchange in effort and energy. Like everything in life, etheric cords must have a sense of balance about them.

Most of us will intuitively know how strong our cord is with someone, but if you are unsure, a good measure is how strongly or how often you think or feel towards someone, especially if the thoughts are obsessive, manipulative or fearful. We are constantly creating cords with many people and even objects. It is important to cut cords when you recognize energy depletion, toxic tendencies, a break up, or when there is obsessive thinking about the person or relationship.

The Cord Cutting Ritual:

Find a quiet place where you can be alone and not disturbed. Begin by relaxing your body and taking a few deep breaths.

Once relaxed, close your eyes and call upon your spirit guides or angels to help guide you through the process.

Upon feeling the presence of your guides, recite the following mantra:

"Dear Spirit Guides, I call upon you to help me heal, let go, and cut any etheric cords that are no longer serving my higher purpose. I ask that all cords attached to me that are not aligned with love, light and positive attention be released. Help me to release them and surround me with a healing light to protect me from future attachments. Thank You."

You may need to repeat the mantra 2-3 times. You can also close your eyes and visualize the cords being released, as well as the healing light surrounding you. If you have a selenite wand, you can use the selenite wand during the mantra by going up and down your body while envisioning all the cords being cut away by the wand. (If you don't have one, that's ok!)

❤️ Root chakra. Inner child work. Family- fixing karmic cycles, dealing with relationships and truths around family and tribe. Community. Working with others for a whole. So employment cycles and healing would fall here as well. Finances could very well fall here as well.

For me root chakra healing has taken years. My life wasn’t like most. There’s a big pile of mess to heal. It may not take you so long.

How do you heal your root chakra? Grounding and centering yourself is key. Healing relationships with family members, or cutting them off for a bit if you can’t grow together, so you can grow alone. Ending karmic cycles that need to end. Ending abuse and things like that. Healing employment pains, clearing karma here.

Red things- red foods are healing for this chakra as well. Tomatoes, strawberries, watermelon.

🧡 Sacral chakra. Sexual healing. Power. Manifesting. Magick. I truly believe conditioned beliefs and religious things come up here. This must be dealt with before magick can truly work for you. Manifesting is magick.

Understanding the sacred idea of what s*x means is important for the healing of this chakra.

To heal this chakra you need to heal the masculine and feminine within you- balance them. But yoga is great, healthy s*xual activity and s*xual healing are key here.

Obsessions around s*x need to be healed for manifesting to go properly.

Oranges, mango, cantaloupe.

💛 Solar plexus. Power. Boundaries. Standing in your power is how to heal this chakra. This is also your connection to source- your source- the power that fuels you. Practicing healthy power is key here.

Fixing manipulation in yourself is key here. Stomach issues tend to occur in people who are over powering or used as a door mat. Heal your belly to heal your power.

Speak up for yourself when you feel some type of way, make changes to better yourself and your life. Cut people out who bring you pains.

Banana, yellow bell pepper, squash, lemon, ginger.

💚 Heart chakra. Matters of the heart. Love. And hate. Emotions. This is the chakra that is ice in so many who want to heal but can’t. You kind of have to start here.

Opening your heart is powerful and magick in itself. It’s a journey for some. I like to watch things that touch my soul, make me cry happy tears. I like to practice loving actions. Giving, helping, showing my friends and family I love them.

Animals are a great way to open your heart too. Allowing yourself to love is key.

Greens, salads, kiwi, green grapes.

💜 Throat chakra. How do you use your tongue? Are you honest? Kind? Compassionate? Are you telling lies? Cursing people? Your throat chakra is all about using your voice.

Practicing treating others right, speaking kindly and openly to others will help heal the throat chakra. Singing, speaking, humming, chanting. These all will help.

💙 Third eye. This is your intuition. Your psychic vision. I practiced. I pushed myself to develop my gifts. I started with tarot and meditation. I kept pushing until I got to where I am. You must be able to have faith that you have this gift in order to open it up. I feel like this is where faith is found and worked on. Faith is definitely needed to truly work this chakra properly.

💜 Crown chakra is all about oneness. Seeing you in everyone else. We are all one. Oneness is key here. This is Christ Consciousness. This is true acceptance of all, and gratitude for this beautiful journey. It’s not judging others.

To heal your crown, you must truly see people. To the core, as a being deserving of love and respect. You must follow the moral code of do no harm. This is high priestess energy. High priest energy. It’s hard to obtain. Knowing we are all The Same Being is key.
