In week 3 action in the IAFL/Elevate 2 table league there were wins for former virtual team Jackslayers as they opened up their account against Sonic Stars. In what was a keenly contested affair that had its boiling points 13-10 especially after team captain Derrick Williams was introduced to pull out the win in the end with a quickfire 2 out of 3 on table 1. Veteran Andre "Silky Smooth" Beggs was a consistent threat on table 2 with his padna Tamika Quasie as well as he finished with a 7-5 result on table 2. honorable mention must be made of Roxanne Villeroel who came in as a sub for Sonic and made it unpleasant for a while for Jackslayers as she hit 3 straight at a point. However this wasn't enough to seal a win for her team as they succumbed 6-5,7-5 (13-10).

Matchday 2 in the IAFL/Elevate 2 Table league saw 2 games on tap as Tranquility All Stars faced off against Card Academy who would have been hoping to bounce back from their loss to Elevate on day 1. The other game would see Elevate square off against Small Side who was playing their first game in the competition.

Card Academy started with greater impetus as they jumped out to a 7-3 lead with table 2 starters Peter "AKA Zesser" Solozano and Brendon Leon being particularly severe on John Sanchez and Herman Nichollis to the tune of 4-1 in the early exchanges. Alicia "Teach" Baboolal and Keldon "Max" Maxwell held serve for the most part against Greydalro "Peewee" Graham and Cohen Calliste as they traded bullseyes to get to 4-4.

Tranquility substitute Ganesh Ramsaroop would be a telling substitution on table 2 as he managed to get both Peter and Brendon out of the match. With both teams locked at 11-11 Shane Gopee and Cheneyce Bowen win close it out for CA on table 2 while Sherwin Cox and Marsha Millington would bring in the winner for Card Academy.

In the other game, Elevate continued winning ways as Wayne "Leggy" Legerton and Kyle Eastman squared off against an in form Nicholas "Preki" Singh and Shalanah Khan and triumphed 7-5 on table 1. It was a a topsy turvy affair until Jamila "Jam" Lewis came in to hit 2 unanswered with Leggy to finish off the match.

On Table 2 Patrice Cheltenham and Shane Legerton needed Keron "Bucky" Best to come in and hit 2 straight against Isiah Henry and Rahul Hosein to close out the match. Play resumes next Monday at the Elevate Bar and Lounge upstairs Royal Castle Curepe.

Monday's kickoff of action in the IAFL/Elevate 2 Table League saw action between 4 teams as Magic Touch faced off against Quiet Riot in Group A whilst Card Academy took on home team Elevate in Group B.

In the Group A match Magic Touch jumped out to a big lead with Selwyn "Sellos" Ramlal along with his partner Jasmine Jack doing most of the heavy lifting early on table one against Fitzroy Lewis and Kaveeta Samai. On Table 2 Franz Alvarado started with Pauline Phillip against Maria Newton and Duane Carimbocas. The Riot pair got the better of Franz and Pauline by winning the first two games. This forced a sub and in came Appreciation Veteran Anthony Riley who then went about dismantling the opposition in surgical fashion which saw the lead balloon to 12-3. Quiet Riot had some moves of their own as they fought valiantly to create some uneasy moments for Magic Touch bringing the game to 12-9 as substitutes Roger Archer and Dwayne Gonzales battled back on table one whilst Richie Samai came in on table 2 to cross swords with Anthony Riley. It was too much of a deficit however as substitute Raphael "Badman" Joseph brought in the winning bullseye for Magic Touch on table one.

In the other match Wayne Legerton was in a rampant mood for the home side as he saw off starters Sherwin Cox and Nirmala Singh-Ali, and 4 subs en route to a match winning 7-4 performance. Keron Best and Nicholas James were instrumental in the win as well as they held off substitute Natoya Ash and Alicia "Teach" Baboolal to seal the win.

League play resumes next week Monday at the Elevate Bar upstairs Royal Castle in Curepe.
