BATMAN: THE LONG HALLOWEEN, PART TWO | SPOILER FREE

Such a strong sequel! And might I add how dope it is to have Jensen Ackles voice Batman?! The guy is perfect in the role.

In the sequel we're met with Bruce Wayne under Poison Ivy's control on behalf of Carmine Falcone and under her forced persuasion, Bruce is unable to be the Batman, stop criminals, save lives and investigate the continued Holiday murders.

When rescued by Catwoman he's made aware that he's been inactive for three months and with that information he makes sure to find himself back on the streets fighting crime and solving the Holiday killings.

Through a series of clues, we find out who the Holiday killer was and also see the fall of Harvey Dent, as hinted in part one.

If there's anything negative to say, it's that there was one scene that didn't necessarily work an that was more a pacing issue as to how we got to the interconnected scenes but overall part two of The Long Halloween was an excellent movie.

This film is definitely an awesome addition to our DC animated film collection. We loved and ate up every bit of the film and with that we give it a 4.5/5.

TEEN TITANS: THE JUDAS CONTRACT | Throwback Review | SPOILER FREE

This 2017 animated film was based on Teen Titans 'The Judas Contract' arc by Marv Wolfman and George Pérez and for us, the film was much better than its predecesor (Justice League vs. Teen Titans). Great? No... Good? Yes.

The film shows us Dick Grayson (now Nightwing) rejoining the Teen Titans to track down a terrorist cult led by one named, Brother Blood. He plans on capturing the team to absorb each of their unique abilities with a machine that he had built.

To get the process of capturing the Titans, Brother Blood hires the mercenary known to us as Deathstroke and here we find ourselves given the meat of the story.

We're introduced to a new member of the Titans team named Terra and in the initial stages, she's rather cold and distant towards the team but eventually warms up to them but things aren't all what they seem.

Can we say that we loved Damian in this film? Because we really did!

The film was paced well and its action sequences and dialogue were really good. What we feel as if we should say however, is that in our humble opinion DC Entertainment should start limiting its use of 'the Judas Contract' in any future Teen Titans media. We could be wrong but it's as if the arc has been used one too many times when telling a Titans story.

All in all, the film was a good addition to the DCAMU and for that we see no issue in awarding it a 4.5/5 rating!
