The Publications Committee is a branch of the UWI Law Society Executive. My function as Publications Committee Chairperson as per Section 13 and Section 46 of the Constitution of the Law Society is as follows:
" 13. Publications Committee Chairperson
There shall be a Publications Committee Chairperson in the Law Society. The Publications Committee Chairperson shall ---
(i) chair all meetings o
f the Publications Committee;
(ii) ensure to the proper functioning of the Publications Committee and fulfill the responsibilities provisioned under section 46, and
(ii) perform any other function(s) that may be assigned to the Office from time to time by the Executive or this Constitution. Publications Committee
There shall be a Publications Committee of the Law Society. The Publication Committee shall –
(i) be chaired by the Publications Committee Chairperson;
(ii) shall be responsible for the production of all publications authorized by the Executive; and
(iii) work in coordination with the Public Relations Officer."
