Happy Father's Day To ALL FATHERS!!! I couldn't have written this script any better. When Jada was born 13 years ago I was overwhelmed, excited and anxious about becoming a father. Two days after her birth I was overcome by a plethora of emotions and I dealt with it the only way I knew how to at the time - I wrote a song. Coincidentally, two days after we celebrated Jada's thirteenth birthday, we went into studio with Gids to record this song. I laughed at the irony of it being two days after her birthday and this song being written two days after her birth. As fate would have it, I recently found out some things about my father that revealed answers to questions I've sought for years about our relationship. I feel more love and appreciation for him now that I know the things he went through in his childhood. This has brought so much closure to pain I've experienced. With all of this healing and with the release of this new song, I feel an overflow of blessings - from one generation to the next generation to the next...
