Cruise Season will officially commence today, November 20th 2022, with the arrival of Silversea Cruises' vessel, the Silver Moon at the Scarborough Port. This will be the vessel's maiden call and it is estimated to bring over 1000 visitors to the island's shores.

Guests will be warmly welcomed by a variety of cultural performers, local artisans and other tourist industry stakeholders.

The Season is scheduled to extend to April 17th, 2023 with a number of maiden calls throughout, including today's call & Rhapsody of The Seas on November 21st.

As a destination, we look forward to welcoming cruise visitors once again since the reopening of our borders post-pandemic. Take a look at the November- December cruise ship arrival schedule for Scarborough and Charlotteville ports.

Hey everyone!

Cosplay Workshops are back!
This is open only to those local to Trinidad and Tobago though as they will be hosted at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus! Prices quoted are in TTD.

Come learn from one of the best 😊 Workshop and course spaces are limited as I will be giving as much individual attention as possible 🙂
You can either sign up for individual workshops or for the full course. Certificates are awarded for those that complete the full course 😃

Sewing:
You will learn how to create an item of clothing from scratch. At the end of this workshop you will be able to draft a paper pattern, transfer that pattern to fabric and create a wearable item with a zipper and other forms of closures. Skills from this workshop can be applied to wearable pieces outside of cosplay 🙂

Armor:
You will create a piece of armor out of different layers and types of foam. You will be provided with free patterns and I will walk you through the process from start to finish, teaching you detailing and painting techniques using a variety of materials including foam clay!

LEDs
You will learn basic knowledge on electronics and circuits and will be taught how to apply this to your cosplay projects! For those that joined me in the Armor course, you will then learn how to add LEDs to the armor piece you made in those workshops! You will also learn tips and tricks on how to create lighting effects using an Arduino and programmable LEDs.

SPECIAL HALLOWEEN WORKSHOP! October 29th 2022!
This workshop will teach you how to create some really cool halloween items, such as a massive Witch Hat and a Jack O Lantern Head! All out of Foam! This is more of a chill liming session as well for those that want to stick around after 😃

We will provide your main materials and equipment but of course if you have your own we highly recommend walking with them.
More info on what you will need to walk with will be emailed to everyone who has signed up as this post is already a bit long lol
