On #WorldRefugeeDay 2024, we would like to share our short documentary on the UNHCR Trinidad and Tobago Community Outreach Members.
The Community Outreach Members are refugee men and women from around the world who have all sought safety in Trinidad. This documentary follows their work in the Chaguanas community, to act as a bridge between UNHCR and the refugee and migrant community.
We focus on their stories, how they came to T&T, what they do here, and how they have managed to successfully integrate into the community, as well as how they help others to do the same.
