Popular NFT artist XCOPY earned $23 million in 10 minutes from the NFT sale.
Artist XCOPY, whose NFT works are followed with interest, recently published his latest work under the name "max pain" and earned $23 million in just 10 minutes. In total, 7,394 NFT works were sold on the Nifty Gateway marketplace, each for 1 ETH.

The Giant Consulting Company, KPMG to Offer NFT Advice.
The Canadian branch of KPMG announced that it has purchased non-tradable tokens (NFTs) from its World of Women collection. This acquisition provided the global accounting firm's entry into digital collections.
The consultancy giant stated that it will also give advice to their clients who want to invest and buy works in the field of NFT, which has already taken its place among the important values of the future.
Managing partner of KPGM Canada, Benjie Thomas said “NFTs unlock a new channel for organizations to engage with their customers, while also underpinning innovation through the secure digitization of assets,” in a press release. Also, he added “Having now gone through the process, we are well-positioned to guide our clients around building a corporate NFT strategy, including acquiring and safeguarding NFTs.”
World of Women, whose collection was purchased, has gained rapid momentum since the day it was put up for sale with the lowest selling price of 8.5 ETH on the OpenSea marketplace.
The song that broke Seedify's records in 17 seconds
Pedro Qualy released a song that was about a recently released NFT game called Mouse Haunt.
In their IDO, Mouse Haunt broke the records in about 17 seconds, depleting around 1,425,000 Mouse Haunt tokens. They have managed to sell some of their first packs with NFTs and will soon be open to revealing what mice they got.
Every game has its own, unique soundtrack. Pedro used some of the elements of Mouse Haunt soundtrack as the beat of his song. When it comes to the lyrics, they were entirely written by Pedro Qualy and Mouse Haunt’s CEO Pedro D’Andrea. The lyrics were about the gameplay of the already mentioned game.
Expanded Virtual World; South Korea’s National Metaverse
The head of South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT has just announced the national Government is to invest $187 million to build South Korea’s national Metaverse. According to Coin Telegraph, the Ministry intends building a Metaverse that supports “the growth of digital content and corporate growth within the country.”
The project named the ‘Expanded Virtual World’ will set out to complete 4 targets. Content creators will be brought onboard to help build the metaverse. Additionally, The Ministry will host creative contests, hackathons, and developer competitions.

Mintable Pledges to return NFTs Stolen from Opensea
On February 19 2022, millions of dollars worth of NFTs were stolen from OpenSea wallets between the hours of 5 pm and 8 pm ET, and by the end of the heist, a total of 254 tokens were stolen.
Mintable, an NFT marketplace, purchased a few NFTs from the Azuki project and gifted them to owners who had their Azuki Avatars stolen. Mintable’s CEO, Zach Burks had a few stern words for OpenSea; he criticized the brand’s apparent lack of care for its members. After their recent philanthropic act, Mintable has been in the news for the right reasons.

Manchester City and Sony to build 1st virtual football stadium in Metaverse
Manchester City one of the World’s most recognizable football brands, reckon their physical stadium is not enough. So, they have announced they will build the World’s first virtual football stadium in the metaverse via a partnership with Sony.
The project which is still at the early stages is part of a 3-year deal with Sony. Experts from Sony virtual reality team have been brought onboard for the project. Their intention is , you shouldto build a Prove of Concept (POC). They have already begun to virtually map the stadium, and then recreate it in the Metaverse.
