We're happy to announce that the first epic release by Tunisian producer Near Stoic , Notebook (Thoughts & Short Stories) is now available on its most wanted format, a cassette tape (the 3 last copies actually since it was sold out all over the world).
This beautiful work is an intimate window in Near Stoic world and speaks to every emotion one can feel, a mixture of perfectly-engineered sounds and a creativity that translates the complexity of the human mind.
It got released on Third Kind Records , a Brighton-based factory of masterpieces led by Nicholas Langley.

Ever since its establishment in 2020, Eddisco Records have always had a clear vision which consists of weaving a colorful collective discography that reflects its Tunisian and North African identity and sound while valuing the individuality of its artists, and that, with a sole purpose of contributing to the universal heritage of Electronic Music.
Eddiscology Vol.1, Eddisco’s first compilation, was born to answer the actual need of building a Tunisian futuristic sound, an alternative space where several local artists dive into their experimentations to produce gems that reflect their thoughts, inspirations and aspirations.
The compilation includes 7 musical journeys whose genres are some complex combinations of House, Hip Hop, Electro & Acid and which were visualized, conceived, then produced by Don Pynno, Pan J, Hamdi Ryder, Ahmet Mecnun, Unveiled, Khalil Lajmi and Khemir.

In 2018, Eddisco was initially founded by Downtown Vibes’ crew to be the first record shop
to officially sell Electronic Music records in Tunisia but was never limited to that. When
you visit the place today, you can dive into the sonic diversity it offers which includes so
many genres like House Music, Jazz, Disco, Balearic and North African gems. The place
offers some occasional live streaming sessions that help promote outstanding local artists
and introduce a large community of real music heads to many international sound
ambassadors. One year after its creation, Eddisco earned his place among The Vinyl Factory magazine as the unique record shop in Tunisia.
Given the growth of both Downtown Vibes and Eddisco projects and their remarkable
impact on the Tunisian scene, it was time to tighten the belt and switch to the next speed.
Co-founded by Hamdi Toukabri, known as Hamdi Ryder, and Yassine Hammar in 2020, the
label “Eddisco” is announced to be the Tunisian messenger of an uprising generation of
musical creators.
As a label, Eddisco has a main mission which consists of crossing the boundaries of genres
with rich and innovative Electronic Music creations. That being said, Eddisco won’t be
labelled with a certain genre. It will provide a free space of creativity for all the talented
artists who wish to exhibit their identities and styles through the sound.
