2 x REGISTERED NURSES WITH MIDWIFERY CERTIFICATES FOR SAINT JOSEPH HOSPITAL, NUKUNONU, TOKELAU

POSITION: Registered Nurses for Saint Joseph Hospital, Nukunonu, Tokelau

JOB PURPOSE:
Provide good quality nursing care to patients through administration of medications, proper usage of equipment and assisting doctor.

KEY RESPONSILITIES:
Provide quality nursing care to patients
Maintain a high level of patient care and ward cleanliness
Administer medications to patients
Able to es**rt patients from Nukunonu to Apia
Able to do deliveries, antenatal clinic and maternal child care clinic
Has the ability to work independently and work in a team

MAIN DUTIES AND OUTCOMES:
Ensure a high level of patient care is delivered appropriately and in a timely manner
Ensure that nurses respond to patients’ needs and requests accordingly and in a timely manner
Ensure patients are treated with respect
Manage the cleanliness of wards and clinics on a daily basis
Ensure that all drugs are given accordingly
Prepare to es**rt patients when needed
Ensure to carry out antenatal clinic, maternal child care clinic and perform deliveries on a remote place.
Work with the medical doctor and other colleagues to ensure good coordination for patients care

Qualification and Experience
Hold a Diploma or Bachelor of Nursing
Minimum of 4 years of working experience is required
A midwifery qualification is also required

Desirable Requirements
Ability to manage confidential matters and show discretion
High level written and oral communication in English
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to liaise with superiors
Good time management skills

Remuneration
As per Hay Group Remuneration Scale endorsed GF
Contract Period: 3 Years
