The Trust About Being in BTS
Being a popular boy band is just not easy as we have seen, this single has to take some strict crazy rules when it comes to being a part of the band. The boy group follows strict rules from restrictive diets to no dating. Well, before we dive in make sure to give this video a thumbs up while you're at it subscribe to our Channel now let's get started.
Currently, BTS is now the biggest boy band in the world, topping charts and setting records as they continue on their new releases song. Since its debut in 2013, the seven-member group — which consists of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook — has grown beyond the bounds of traditional K-pop groups.
Soundigest reported that Kim Namjoon was the first member recruited by Big Hit Entertainment to form what eventually would become BTS. According to SOUNDIGEST, the company envisioned BTS as a hip-hop group and recruited Namjoon, who was rapping in the underground scene under the name Runch Randa. Hip-hop has played an important role for the rapper, and RM has demonstrated his connection with the music genre and its associated culture in a way that indicates understanding and appreciation rather than appropriation.
Suga, His State name is Min Yun-ki: According to the Time Magazine
Starting as an underground rapper as a teen with the stage name of Gloss, Suga got his current moniker from early years spent playing basketball. (It’s an abbreviation for “shooting guard.”) Suga is known for his rapid-fire rhymes. He’s also happy to be vocal about everything from mental health to politics, especially on his 2016 mixtape Agust D. He also is a producer, having contributed to award-winning songs on other artists’ projects as well of many of BTS’s own tracks.
After winning a national dance competition in 2008 and catching the eye of the K-pop industry, Jung Hoseok, known as J-Hope, now holds the position of the main dancer, lead rapper, and sub-vocalist in BTS. J-Hope becomes the third member of BTS after RM and Suga. He was part of an underground dance crew in his home province of Gwangju. But since becoming a part of the boy band, J-Hope expanded his skill set to include rapping and songwriting, with credits across the BTS discography. He also released his own mixtape in March, Hope World, which charted independently on the Billboard 200 and shared his signature message of optimism and peace. He’s vocal about his love of fashion, too. In an interviewing with TIME, J-hope told that he loves to shop when he visits new cities.
Jin his official name is Kim Seok-jin singer. According to Time Magazine, Jin stepped out of a limo at the Billboard Music Awards in 2017, and a candid snapshot of Jin caught the internet’s attention. The result: he now often goes by the fan-given moniker “Worldwide Handsome.” He was initially scouted on the street in South Korea before ending up in BTS. An amateur foodie, Jin garnered his own audience early on with a popular food vlog, Eat Jin, in which he posted candid videos of himself — and sometimes his bandmates — eating home-cooked meals (and sharing their opinions, of course).
V is the R&B crooner of the bunch, known for his smooth vocals that pop on some of the lower-tempo songs from the band. At shows, his standout moment comes when he sings and dances alongside a life-sized puppet of sorts in an emotive, avant-garde duet to his solo song “Singularity.” A songwriter and producer as well, he has also dabbled in acting, and currently has an interest in photography, he told TIME.
As the youngest member of the group, Jung Kook fills a special role in K-pop groups called the “Maknae,” referring to his youth — but in BTS he’s been deemed the “Golden Maknae,” giving him kudos for his onstage chops. He’s also one of the group’s prime vocalists, appearing on the anonymous South Korean singing reality show King of Masked Singer to surprise and delight audiences a few years ago. He likes to share some of his pen and paper illustrations on social media too. And he loves to perform, telling TIME that now in months off when the group isn’t doing shows, he looks forward to returning to the stage.
Jimin received the least amount of time training as the last member to join BTS, Park Jimin excels in both his roles of main dancer and lead vocalist. As a singer, he retains an airy quality to his vocals and is capable of belting out high notes as well as gentle, breathy verses. In BTS’s most recent album, Love Yourself: Jimin is featured as the soloist on the first track, “Serendipity”.
Like J-Hope, Jimin was a dancer before joining the group, and his previous training in contemporary dance is evident in the intensity and fluidity of his movements. He dances with incredible agility, concentrating all of his power on each action. Simultaneously strong and graceful in the choreography for “Spring Day,” Jimin effortlessly leaps from one point to the next as if floating on air.`
The member of BTS know they have to keep working hard to stay ahead, and
obviously to put willing in the effort to fight back against the negative that they face.
