Decommission of Payment Apportionment for UOB Credit Cards and Cash Cards
Starting from the Billing Cycle Cut Date of June 24, 2024

Starting from the billing cycle cut date of 24 June 2024 onwards, UOB Thailand will decommission the automatic payment apportionment system for UOB credit cards and cash cards. The customers with billing cycle cut date from 24 June onwards will receive the new monthly statement format which will feature an individual QR code and Barcode for each card. This change is intended to allow customers who hold more than one UOB credit card or more than one cash card, to have the flexibility to pay each card balance separately, without the constraints of the Payment Apportionment system.
1. For Customers with the Billing Cycle Cut Date from June 24, 2024 onwards:
- Customers can use the new credit card or cash card statement, which includes an individual QR code or Barcode for each card, to pay the desired balance one day after your billing cycle cut date.

Remarks:
• If using a QR code generated from UOB Thai Line Official account or a previous statement, please ensure to verify which card the QR code belongs to before making a payment to prevent over payment.
• Customers can still generate a new QR code/barcode via the UOB Thai LINE Official account for each credit card by specifying the credit card number of each card separately.
• eStatement on UOB TMRW application will be available 3 working days after the billing cycle cut date.

2. For Customers with Billing Cycle Cut Date Before June 24, 2024:
- The customers will receive the old statement format providing single QR Code/Barcode and will experience payment apportionment for the last cycle. For the next cycle, they will receive the new statement with multiple QR Code/Barcode for each of their cards.
Customers can use the QR code/barcode from the previous statement, which includes one QR code or Barcode for all cards. Customers will need to sum the balances of all UOB credit cards/ cash cards and scan the QR code to make a single payment to avoid payment apportionment.

Example:
- If your card’s billing cycle cut date of June 4, 2024. Payments for this card will still be subjected to payment apportionment until the next billing cycle cut date. From July 4, 2024 statement onwards, payments will go directly to each card without payment apportionment.

The following payment methods can be used to avoid payment apportionment:
• With a UOB Saving Account: You can make payment for each card through the UOB TMRW Thailand application, UOB Personal Internet Banking, UOB ATM/CDM, or automatic account deduction (direct debit).
• Without a UOB Saving Account: If you have more than one credit card, you can pay the combined balance of all credit cards by scanning the QR code/barcode on the statement and make single payment to avoid payment apportionment.
Important notes:
• Citi Statements can be used until June 30, 2024. For the next payment, use the new statement form from UOB as per step 1.
• Payments for Supplementary Cards can be made through the QR code of the primary card. The supplementary card's expenses will be included in the primary card's expenses. In case the primary card is lost or being reissued, a specific payment form for the supplementary card will be provided, and the statement will be sent to the primary cardholder.
• If one of the credit cards owned by the customer has billing cycle cut date before June 24, 2024, all cards will still be subjected to payment apportionment until the next billing cycle cut date. In this case, please sum the balances of all UOB credit cards/ cash cards and scan the QR code to make a single payment to avoid payment apportionment.
When Will Payment Apportionment End?
The termination of Payment Apportionment will be fully effective for all cards and billing cycles starting from 25 July 2024.

Payment Channels
Immediate Credit Line Reinstatement After Payment:
• UOB TMRW Thailand App, UOB Personal Internet Banking (PIB)
• UOB ATM and CDM, or UOB branches
• Mobile banking or Internet Banking of other banks through PromptPay (except Bank of Ayudhya which will reinstate the credit line within 2 business days)
• Thailand Post
Credit Line Reinstatement Within 2 Business Days After Payment:
• Payment partners including Bank of Ayudhya, Lotus’s, Counter Service, mPAY and True Money kiosk (Fee apply as per each service provider.)
