It has been a while since the South Koreans ever stepped in a sports-car game after the release of Genesis Coupe and Veloster N. But things have gone through quite an evolution after Hyundai Group successfully developed a sustainable electric powertrain that can be shared across other platforms.
Take IONIQ 5 for example, a well-built super efficient compact electric crossover that can at least deliver over 320 hp from factory. And the guys from N-Department have gone a little crazy and overcharge their itty bitty IONIQ 5 to make the N-Version, the 640 hp track & drift capable monster.
But the IONIQ 5 N did lack a few factor, lesser built quality, respectable overall design and a premium interior. To fill in that gap, Hyundai has awakened their North American grown brand: Genesis to enrage their GV60 EV. Meet the orangey dragon, the GV60 Magma. It certainly got great looks and aero tweaks thank to ex-Bentley designers but it's still a humble IONIQ 5 N underneath.
Apart from that in**ed fact, let's just dive into it. You can clearly see the cool-looking wheels under its integrated fender flares. The front grille got a lot more look like an Urus and it certainly delivers to human eyes. In the back, we can find the same ugly looking tail lights and its not so big of a spoiler. Hey, I am not complaining all the way tho, I still thinks the bumper looks really great. Afterall, this is not a new car with surprising claims and power numbers, it is just a more refined and luxurious Hyundai.
