It has been a while since the South Koreans ever stepped in a sports-car game after the release of Genesis Coupe and Veloster N. But things have gone through quite an evolution after Hyundai Group successfully developed a sustainable electric powertrain that can be shared across other platforms.

Take IONIQ 5 for example, a well-built super efficient compact electric crossover that can at least deliver over 320 hp from factory. And the guys from N-Department have gone a little crazy and overcharge their itty bitty IONIQ 5 to make the N-Version, the 640 hp track & drift capable monster.

But the IONIQ 5 N did lack a few factor, lesser built quality, respectable overall design and a premium interior. To fill in that gap, Hyundai has awakened their North American grown brand: Genesis to enrage their GV60 EV. Meet the orangey dragon, the GV60 Magma. It certainly got great looks and aero tweaks thank to ex-Bentley designers but it's still a humble IONIQ 5 N underneath.

Apart from that in**ed fact, let's just dive into it. You can clearly see the cool-looking wheels under its integrated fender flares. The front grille got a lot more look like an Urus and it certainly delivers to human eyes. In the back, we can find the same ugly looking tail lights and its not so big of a spoiler. Hey, I am not complaining all the way tho, I still thinks the bumper looks really great. Afterall, this is not a new car with surprising claims and power numbers, it is just a more refined and luxurious Hyundai.

Some call it Cerato, others may call it Forte and everybody has to call it as ‘K4’. Allow me to introduce the new addition of KIA compact-sedan lineup of 2025, the all new K4 GT-Line. KIA has brought up some cool looking design tweaks and interior upgrades to our eyes with this model.

Obviously, the starting MSRP will go way up. You think? No, that’s the exact opposite. The KIA K4 MSRP will remain at around $20,000 no matter how great looking it is. If you don’t have any interest in American-bred Japanese models. How about an American-bred South Korean one? I bet they don’t differ much in terms of price, reliability, interior build quality and overall performance. Ok well, let’s just dive into our newly bred car of the night.

The all-new 2025 KIA K4 GT, great looking compact sedan which checks pretty much all the marks you’d look for in a mid-range sedan. But not so compact though, it became pretty much like its older brother, the K5 and sits right below K5 as the largest compact sedan in the KIA lineup. The car comes with two engine options, one is a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 147-horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque and pairs with a continuously variable transmission.

And the other optional one is also a turbocharged Inline-4 but with less displacement and more power output. That 1.6L Turbo Inline 6 can produce around 190 hp and 195 lb-ft of torque which is slightly less powerful compared to its previous predecessor, the Forte GT. Press says that KIA will offer the 2025 K4 in five different trims; the LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line and GT-Line Turbo.

When you look inside the interior, you would certainly praise KIA’s designers for their great touches. You can’t find an interior like this in any Corolla(s) or Civic(s). That’s all for my folks. I would love to see more Korean models that are born and raised in North America that can compete with Japanese automakers as well as their landlords, the American ones.

In our automotive world, there are two kinds of people who will get into a heated argument when you ask them this question; “Ferrari or Lamborghini?”. And all you gotta do is to sit back, relax and enjoy the show. It is that easy. Haha, yeah I am talking about a bunch of manchildren who used to have a Ferrari F40 or a Lamborghini Countach poster up on the wall when they were teenagers.

Biassed opinions from childhood are kinda hard to drop tho. But all jokes aside. I am one of the people who used to have a Lamborghini poster in my room. If you are one of them, you are more than welcome to read this article, if you are not. It is still okay, I share my automotive enthusiasm to all people anyway. So, let us start from the rise of the V10 Lamborghini age, the infamous Gallardo. Lamborghini used to exist on a blink of extinction due to their lack of entry-level affordable supersports cars and bad marketing choices.

But in 2005, a quick-witted and insightful businessman stepped forward to take leadership of Automobili Lamborghini, his name was Stephen Winklemann. Under his leadership, a more accessible and practical supersports model known as the Gallardo was born. From that moment, the world had seen the potential of importance of a V10 Lamborghini as it had helped shape and formulated a strong influence to the auto-enthusiasts.

Leaving them with a hope to one day see the incarnation of another V10 raging bull from Sant ’Agata Bolognese. Nearly a decade later, a thundering storm had approached. Its name is called the Huracan, sourced from a infamous fight-bull called the Hurricane. Since then, the Huracan has been gaining reputation for its great handling, dramatic fire-breathing V10 and a lineup of different models. From which I am going to explain each one for you and bring the greatness, the success of Huracan to the table. So, let’s get started!

29/03/2024

Unlike BMW M, Mercedes-AMG have their own dedicated supersports car model that can go toe to toe with Stuttgart's world famous widowmaker, the 911 Turbo. Well, in case you don't know, Mercedes-AMG have designed and created the AMG GT to directly challenge the Porsche 911 on purpose.

They were both offered a bunch of trim levels to compete each other on certain level of budget and these two actually had some clashes in order to take the "Fastest Production Car" throne in the infamous Nurburgring. But now is the new age. Porsche is finally putting an electric motor inside the new 911 (992.2) and AMG have already downsized its engine on the entry level AMG GT43. For purists, this is the most AMG thing that AMG can do after 2023 and they kinda get it.

We can't be mad at AMG for putting a more easy, tamable engine inside the entry model since that's the one which sells the most. What angers the purists most is the fact that an entry-level AMG GT43 cost nearly as a well-capable M car like the M4 CSL or the fully flagship S550. So you can easily expect the pricings of its bigger siblings, the GT55 and the GT63 to go sky high. But let's put those aside for a bit. How about we actually talk about the car. Firstly, we are losing half the cylinders but we are not losing half the horsepower since its Turbo Inline 4 is quite the mean one. As AMG has strapped an electric motor to the turbo, the engine will easily make around 416 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. Make the car one of the most powerful 4 cylinder coupes.

The same engine can also be found on the C43 sedan but with less acceleration time. But hey, sacrificing a few miliseconds for a RWD drivetrain seems like a worthy trade. Yes! This AMG coupe has all-time RWD. Making the experience more exhilarating. Being a lesser trim, we should be expecting the GT43 to have less exciting body treatment although the car is already looking great.

But however, it has a less-wider stance compared to its more powerful siblings. Fortunately, Mercedes have offered a ton of customization options to better help customers to make their GT43 unique on its own. For me, I am painting the car dark green and the gloss finish is the one I'll be choosing. What'll your GT43 look like if you are to buy one?

In our whole wide world, there are only two kinds of people when it comes to McLaren. The ones who like the McLarens or the ones who have not discovered the McLaren yet. “Such a bold statement don’t you think” you might ask.

No, I swear I will definitely praise McLarens even more if I know more fancy English words. What has made me think that way? Well, there is a certain someone from a continent called South Africa. That someone has spent his whole life pursuing these foolish dreams of creating cars, not such regular cars.

The ones that can take trophies home and break the speed records while sounding insanely great. Yes, I am talking about the great Gordon Murray. The designer, the genius and the technical director behind many Championship-winning Formula One cars and tonight’s star of the show; The McLaren F1.

Well folks, I would love to humbly request you guys to take a moment to find a great spot just to read this article. It is going to be worth your time. Enjoy it from it’s very beginning. The founding of McLaren Cars company.

28/03/2024

“Experience A New Adventure”, that’s the slogan of a Japanese tuning company called JAOS. A company which focuses on modifying your daily normal boring Japanese car into a off-road capable outrageous looking model that you can rely on. Last January, there was this event called the BAJA 1000 and automakers around the globe went absolutely bananas for it.

There were certainly a handful of off-road tuned models but tonight, we are narrowing down our focus on this one, the JAOS Lexus GX550 OVERTRAIL. Starting from the front, we can obviously see its customised rugged bumper which inherits two LED fog lamps. From the size, the most noticeable point is the vehicle height.

The car has been lifted up to 7 inches above the ground and it can surely provide a great amount of ground clearance when travelling through unforgiving terrains. Then there are these ginormous fender flares each housing each TOYO Tires Open Country A/T III LT275/70R18 tyres. Those things mean business. And when you come around a bit, you can admire its side profile. It’s gorgeous.

We are out here seeing a set of JAOS side step black and JAOS flat rack 1250 x 1400 roof rail. You can go check out the car’s full modification list on the Lexus website, it’s easy to find. Do I want one? Yeah, ofcourse. This kind of car is built to last, to be abused in the most rugged terrain and not worry about breaking down. And aside, this JAOS version mainly focuses on delivering offroad experience while offering a comfortable and luxurious driving experience.

For me personally, I would take the GX over the Defender any day. But the JAOS version, I think it’s a little overkill. Besides, I am only going back to the countryside to meet my relatives, not going to compete in BAJA. But it feels genuinely great to know that there is a company which focuses on enhancing off-road experiences in an attainable way. Yes, I know. This will probably cost around 100K U.S. dollars but hey, you don’t need to take it to the shop once in a few months. It’s a Lexus, it will run forever.

27/03/2024

Hey, you there. Yeah you. How about you and me travel back to 2017 and see all the great things. We are talking about no-COVID, no pandemic and low crimes being committed daily. And we had tons of DJ and musical events back then. And of course, the beef between the Brits and the Italians.

Yes, we are talking about the unprecedented direct competition between the Aston Martin DBS Superleggera and the Ferrari 812 Superfast. The two also have the same cylinder count while making different numbers. But they share the same market. Both are flagship V12 Grand Tourers and both feature spectacular sounding V12 engines.

While the competition seems unfamiliar, we have to acknowledge the fact that Aston made a ton of front-engined V12 GT(s) and the Ferrari still won our hearts with their high-revving naturally aspirated engine with a relatively new long-nose GT model. And yes, it is happening again. No, not the COVID. I meant the Aston-Ferrari rivalry.

Both are now testing their new V12 weapons and no-one is backing down a bit. We are talking about at least 800 horsepower, more manageable throttle control and more drama driven design approach. As I did write an article about the new DBS successor, now it is time to take on the new 812 Superfast replacement.

When you are like me, following every major car brand on social media and websites, you would probably know that Ferrari’s design language has changed a lot since the debut of Ferrari Roma, a well-designed elegant Grand Tourer made for city driving experience.

The new 812 will feature the new headlights and tail lights which are going to be similarly designed like the ones you can find on both Purosangue and Roma. I guess it will probably feature Purosangue’s headlights. The rear end is mostly left unchanged apart from tail lights since you can easily tell it is a 812 replacement model.

The quad-exhaust tips are the last piece of the puzzle since it will stream the magnificent sound from the V12. Analysing how the whole car looks to me, I guess it will look a bit more refined and feature more dramatic bodylines since it has great curves right past the B-pillar. And the side intake vents are also huge for its size and I honestly love them. Hey, guys! What are your thoughts on this one? Let us know in the comments below.

26/03/2024

I can’t even believe I am actually saying this. In 2023, Lamborghini sold over 10,000 units and thus, ended up with a revenue well over 2.2 billion EUR. When you come to think of it. It is actually crazy as the cheapest Lamborghini can cost around 200,000 euros.

I am talking about the Urus, you know the one who saved Lamborghini from bankruptcy. Yeah, Lamborghini sold over 6,000 of them. We can all have different views on the super SUV trend but we can’t deny the fact that they are actually great for the brand. By selling more SUVs, Lamborghini will make enough money to afford racing. Hack, they already did.

In this year, Lamborghini will debut its all new Lamborghini SC63 hypercar to the termac of Circuit de la Sarthe, also known as ‘24 hours of Le Mans’. This will certainly make history as Ferrari took the championship home with their 499P hypercar last year. So, we are about to witness the greatest battle between the raging bulls and the prancing horses fight on France soil. Anyway, back to the original material.

Lamborghini had delivered a total of 10,112 units alone in 2023 and exceeded the 700 million EUR operating result. The sales record also hit a milestone as the first Italian Supercar brand to surpass 10,000 units. As a Lamborghini fan, I feel absolutely delighted to hear that Lamborghini is doing great.

Expectedly, they better be planning to make a new Huracan successor in the last quarter of 2024 as the new TT hybrid V6 Ferrari and McLaren are taking the exotic car scene by storm. Well, that is all for tonight and I hope you guys have a blast.

25/03/2024

For us car nerds, the GT-R is one of the most phenomenal human engineerings that ever happened on god’s green earth. It made history when it debuted. It’s heavy and yet very agile and eats every corner with no sweat. It demands to be driven fast, it will make you wanna take a walk around a fast spin around the track. And the VR38DETT engine it has, that thing will put the speakers inside the cabin ashame.

Behind this spectacular driving machine, there are of course the masterminds. The ones who are meticulously assembling the car to perfection so that it can do what it is meant to do, slaying supercars. For normal people, they are probably called the engineers or auto-mechanics. But at Nissan, they are greatly dubbed as the ‘Takumi’s , the master craftsmen. To honour their hard work they have been doing over a decade, Nissan has decided to create a very special limited edition model from the T-Spec lineup. The car has been simply dubbed as the T-Spec Takumi Edition.

But the real special things are under the bonnet. If you open the hood, you are welcomed with a red-etched engine badge which has been signed by the real Takumi(s) who have worked on the car. And the engine bay will also house a golden VIN plate, thus by matching the wheel colour which is also gold.

The red engine badge signifies the elevated level of attention to precise engine tolerances and component balancing during assembly. Apart from the tributes, the car is particularly the same T-Spec model. No new engine upgrades or any sort of modification. It just happens to carry the Takumi legacy and a special name.

24/03/2024

During the year of 1989, Lexus shocked the world with their all-new brand and model which simply is called the LS400 and made the Germans go nuts. It had all the great things found in a luxury sedan, but it lacked one main factor which made people reconsider pursuing one, the price. Nearly 60 years later, Lexus is still at the top of the food chain by being the most selling and well-recognized Japanese luxury brand and it seems like they are also going to be at the top in the upcoming years. Or, are they?

Enter Infiniti, the original nemesis of Lexus way before they both debuted in early 90s. And now, Infiniti has finally gained the strength and courage to challenge the top dog who has been owning the North American market ever since. If you know about Lexus, you’d know a thing or two about their little luxurious Land Cruiser’s cousin called the LX. It is the most expensive Lexus you can buy from their fleet and it certainly is the Lexus SUV. Big, luxurious, economical, comfortable and spacious. But wait, there is another SUV in town that can rival LX’s characteristics and might even be slightly better in a way right now. It's called the 2025 QX80.

It has the looks to define what it means to be a Japanese luxury SUV. It really does look spectacular. To say Infiniti’s designs are evolved is an understatement. It became more mature, more dynamic and more fitting to today’s design influences.

The QX80 design is honestly impressive. I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between the QX80 and its European counterparts if I were a normie. The side profile is very confident looking and the doors are shaped smoothly like the ones you can find on a Range Rover. But to be fair, Lexus didn’t have to take this far to make the LX sell more. It still looks very much like a Japanese model and still as reliable as they always do.

But the QX80 hits differently. It got all the Japanese craftsmanship and refinements while having one of the best horsepower-per-liter engines in its weight class. I am talking about a twin-turbocharged VR35DDTT 3.5L V6 engine that is all-new and also produces around 450 horsepower. Besides being marketed as an American-born Japanese brand. Infiniti actually doesn’t act like one nor an American one. They retain their image by limiting cross-marketing as low as possible so people wouldn’t think they are buying a Japanese car. And the QX80 is the same.

It is way more advanced than a LX600 and very much comparable to a Mercedes. Take the ‘Front Wide View’ tech for an example, a technology where it uses cameras to provide a wide view to the sides of the vehicle across both 14.3 inch displays. So basically, the driver can see through the vehicle to navigate when parking, travelling through busy city roads or climbing spiral parking structures.

Now let’s talk about the audio. It has a 24-speakers Klipsh DJX 3D surround sound system and also features two individual audio systems built-in the each front headrest. So, whenever you answer a call, you don’t necessarily have to cut the radio or the music from the car.

You can simply answer a phone call without disturbing others’ musical experiences. And the available electronic air suspension and dynamic air suspension will make the ride experience smoother, more safer and easier to park. When parked, the car will lower itself by 2.8 inches for easier access. Inside, we can fit up to 8 passengers and the car will generously provide tons of headroom and legroom for them.

When we look at the roofline, we can see that they are quite smooth and they altogether create a smooth canopy for better aerodynamics. When we approach the vehicle, the car will unlock itself and project a special animation to further welcome you to come inside. The rear end is no different. It is very gorgeous since the taillights are made from light curtain 300+ micro LEDs. Well, that is all for today now and I hope you enjoy the QX80 as much as I did. Thank you so much for reading.

23/03/2024

Well, here comes the fairly fuel economical Nissan for the normal folks like us. After the dark ages of Carlos Ghosn, Nissan has been redeeming itself to prove their cars are as reliable as Toyota(s) and as practical as Honda(s). By ditching out the old and boring V-motion front grille. Nissan has just opened a new chapter in its history.

They are now re-establishing as a well-refined Japanese automaker who happens to be offering great cars with reasonable price tags. To back my statement, I may have to introduce you guys to the all-new 2025 Nissan Kicks and its awesome practicality. Firstly, let’s talk about the design. In recent years, Nissan has been mastering the new design language that they’ll carry for at least a decade.

And let’s say they eventually came out with this new design. Not too great, not too boring like the last ones. And most importantly, to have a personality. With every I.C.E Nissan city-driven models’ updates, we feel like they are missing something. Something to strike a personality at first glance. But fear not, the all-new Kicks has one. With this new front grille and headlight designs, the Nissan Kicks look really fresh. And the whole package looks stunning too.

It has a rear end that resembles a Volvo. While the side profile is not actually good-looking, It certainly has a practical look to it. Nissan states, the new Kicks is designed to fit today’s urban lifestyle. And tbh, they’re not wrong. It has every bits of design to match a city-driven car. And now, how about we enter the car. If we remove the Nissan logo out of the steering wheel, you wouldn’t be able to tell it is a Nissan. Well, this feels like a insult but yeah. These new Nissan(s) got way more refined interiors compared to what Nissan used to make in the last 5 years.

We are talking about a 12.3 inch high resolution center console. A 7-inch driver display and a 360 degree surround view system complete with a 10-speaker sound system. The seats are not the best in class but they surely got a lot better since they have Nissan Zero Gravity seating design. And the last but not least, it’s powertrain and drivetrain. We are talking about a fuel efficient 2.0L Inline 4 which can make up to 141 hp and 141 lb-ft of torque while having no turbo. Beside the engine, the car can now go off-road. Nah, it can’t. But it has the AWD drivetrain which can grip a lot more in snowy landscapes.

If ''don't judge a book by it's cover'' was a car. It is probably a Porsche. Porsche models are designed in a very elegant and modern way that can touch hearts of any ages. However, we all would be wrong if we think the charming look of a Porsche defines it's character. No, it has never been the case since the 930 Turbo took the 'Widowmaker' nickname for it's rawness and untamable driving dynamics.

Fast forward to current day and now we can find ourselves in the era of electric sedans battling for 'The Fastest Production Electric Sedan' title, in which Porsche themselves are deeply involved. In this battle, the Taycan has been the weapon of choice Porsche used to fight against other titans such as Tesla, Mercedes-EQ and BMW. Lately, this battle has been real quiet as the Model S PLAID took away the title in 2020.

But now, the Taycan has been re-awaken! With it's new powerful dual 97 kWh setup, the Taycan Turbo GT becomes the most powerful series production Porsche ever made and with the Weissach package, it beat the Model S PLAID by a 0:02.43 lead. When it comes to talk about the build quality, you know you can't bring us a Tesla against a Porsche. That's how good the Porsche(s) are built. Let's take a look the front! Shall we?

This new Turbo GT model has more meaner and more aggressive looking front bumper and it makes the whole car stand out as a performer. Beside from it's un-noticeable mere changes, the whole car feels a bit more refined in terms of overall look and driving dynamics. It now has the attack mode.

For some reason, we all know that this kind of Porsche will fall into the hands of rich moms who will only use the car for grocery shopping and picking up her kids. But hey, at least we know Porsche GT department truly cares about all of their models and not just the coupe ones. What are your thoughts on this one too? Let me know guys💜
