Back in this city of noodles. You will be surprised how many noodle shops are opening here day and night. The most memorable one in my memory is Guay Tiew Ta Pleew. He is a legend and only opens from Saturday to Sunday. You need to check it out.

How could I passed this place almost every day and never thought of trying? Finally I get to try it for the first time and will definitely coming back. It’s good price, good space, easy to get around and the food tastes soooo good! I will come back for Khao Chae and Pad Thai. Despite the name “Silom Village”, this place is located in Sukhumvit 31 alley not far from Prasanmitr Demonstration School. The name is not exactly what you think, right? Haha. Just be cautious when you search this place on Google maps, make sure it’s Silom Village Restaurant Sukhumvit 31. Parking is the building behind the restaurant.

Bitter guord is a vegetable that acquires a taste but once you get a hang of it, you will never move on from it. I grew up eating this as a soup, stir fry, and in a stew pot during Chinese new year celebrations. I used to hate it so much but it’s one of the dish I misses the most when I’m not home.

Found a good tiny spot to grab quick dinner opposite to Sikarin Hospital on the Srinagarindra road. This place is called Ka Yoom and I can put the link for the google maps in the story highlights above. Their mixed pork and rice is a must. Very affordable price and tasty. 😋
