Relaxation time for students
During this new academic year, students will be having 2 weeks of relaxation time to rest and help their parents, Different from the previous two ones they used to have .
The first one started on the 27TH of October 2023.
1) What do you think about that decision?
2) Many parents are complaining about that decision. Saying it turns students into lazy ones. What can you say about that ?
3) Some people say it's a way for teachers to rest enough and get well prepared for the next classes.

Military coup in Niger
Today it has been exactly one month to the day since the Nigerien army seized power in the country.
1) The fourth day after the military coup in Niger, ECOAS gives a ultimatum of one week to the new government to bring back the former president on power democratically elected, or else they would attack the country.
• Is the military intervention the best way to solve a problem?
2) After the ultimatum the
putchists refused to comply with the request of ECOWAS.
As a response, Nigeria cuts off 60% of nigerien's electricity. But the government still refuses to give up.
• How do you describe this Nigerian act towards a fellow African country?
•Who are they sanctioning? The new government or the population ?
3)Days and weeks pass but ECOWAS doesn't say anything, after a second meeting with some presidents, the president of Cote D'Ivoire says he's ready with his fellow presidents Macky Sall and Patrice Talon to attack Niger, till today nothing happened
•Why Do other presidents refuse to attack Niger ?
4) Two serious military coups previously happened in Mali and Burkina Faso, but why is France so concerned about this one ?
5) Our president his excellency Mr Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé Refused a military intervention in Niger and secretly went for dialogue with the new government.
• How do you qualify this act ?
6) France, through the president was the first country to condemn this military coup.
