Dj Fantacy [Name: Phephela Mdluli], (who is also one half of the 2.0 duo and a founding member of the WeAfro Collective & Room 3302 Sessions). starting out deejaying back in 2011, primarily driven by his passion for music and love for the craft. Fantacy’s first big break came when he secured residency spot at Tinkers Nightclub in Manzini, which was subsequently followed by bookings at a number of
events locally and across the border, either as a solo Dj or as part of 2.0. The year 2016 would see Fantacy join the famous Swazi Boy label, further assuming the role of resident dj at De ja Vu (Esibayeni). Although first schooled in the house music genre (from soulful to deep), Fantacy has grown to play a number of other music genres across the board. He remains a true student of the craft, and he strives to be a complete dj and entertainer, competing only against himself.
