The Sketchy Bug Group was founded when a group of South Bay creators chose to break free from the isolation of working in solitude and sought out a common place for creative work in an attempt to simulate the “bullpen” experience of comic book history. The group has been meeting every week on Wednesday nights from 6 pm to 9 pm at THE COMIC BUG in Manhattan Beach, CA since the Spring of 2013. Be it

We are pleased to reveal this year's gorgeous poster for the 2024 Latinx Comic Arts Festival!*

We are honored and humbled by the talented people who are part of our ongoing celebration of Latinx comic arts. Join us FRIDAY & SATURDAY, March 22-23 on the campus of Modesto Junior College (Modesto, California) from 11am - 6pm both days. The event is FREE, family-friendly, and open to the public and features a LOWRIDER EXHIBIT on Saturday.

*Featuring original art by Amber Padilla of Candy Mistakes.

Artist Extraordinaire Tradd Moore (Silver Surfer Black, Luther Strode... ) is coming to the LA Area for one day. Collector's Paradise & The Comic Bug partnered with Felix Comic Art for two Signing events on Sep 30, from 1-3 p.m. at Collector's Paradise NoHo & 4-6 p.m. at The Comic Bug Manhattan Beach.
Tradd will create two pieces of original art to raffle one at ea. Signing, @ $10/ticket, no limit.
