Dear: MEDIA SCHOLARS

*********************
Re- BEST WISH AND BLESSINGS SHOWERING WHILE COMMERCING THE ANNUAL /YEAR-ENDING VACATION.

To begin, I initially want to reveal to you that, I sincerely have just been mumbling, trying to fiss out what to say, and can aesthetically fit the descriptive of your well-mannered behavior, which in particular cemented to:

1) Your love towards one another, which led us to conclude the year without having any single individual, who disputed or developed differences against his/her colleagues for a minute. This is exceptionally the best experience I have ever seen, since human beings are social animals and a bit tricky to manage themselves. Keep that discipline forward.

(2) Kindness and generosity: since we have started the exam, all I witnessed were reading together; instructing one another on how the exam may be set, which is narrowingly hard to do since, in many cases, people choose to be self-centered.
I thought you would be egoistic enough to just be scattered, which may in fact, affect the few Arabic patterns who may not know how the exam may be set. Your reality is clear and pure, attached to the genuine love towards each other.

We are well acquainted with the fundamental importance of sharing success. Class has been set in the school system to hold the number of individuals, and together, must remarkably perform the hardest task which may encounter each individual.

Birds in the air flock together, no matter how you try to scatter them and we must be there likewise!

(3) Humorous; in the first place, I thought, the Journalists/communicators are different from the comedians, until in our platforms where I a lot observed the way we turned to be comedians. This is extremely exceptional, and I believe the comedians in the market are just lucky that we didn't decide to organize some comedy shows, otherwise, we would've dominated the market and even earned more than they do.
Life is short, and miserably unfair; if you take everything seriously, you won't tolerate it.

Simplicity and humor are the keys to top up the lifespans. Keep entertaining us to the end. Each one of us incredibly enjoys and smiles if he/she visits the forum and shines his/her dark days. You are naturally talented funny individuals.

Therefore, at this juncture, I plainly want to emphasize to you that, I'm so proud to work as your coordinator! It's a bit tricky, but through your support, we together managed to successfully carry out our activities up to this far.
We must continue to support one another, no matter what!

As we embark on the journey of the annual Holiday, be mindful of our strong bond, love, and cooperation to keep each one's contact and continue communicating; support one another when there are any needs. Be unique in the community and not getting integrated to the things which are pulling our country down. Always stand as change agents to help our people by supporting what can only coalesce them together.
Over all, make sure, you don't relax or shift your focus in this incepted educational quest.

Be committed to finish it first, for the rest will be plain to easily break through. "Hold the MEDIA TITLE", to get rest. I believe we must!

BY GOD'S GRACE, WE MUST BE SAFE WHEREVER WE GO AND COME BACK ALL TO START THE CONTINUOUS JOURNEY TOGETHER AND WISH ALL OF YOU THE BEST IN OUR CONCLUDED EXAM.

ABSENT MAKES THE HEART GROW PONDER!

"For more updates, specifically about the end of the year Party must be shared in our platforms as usual."

Motto: Smile and fun must always lead!

Thanks!!!

Mr. Khan Banguot Gok,

COORDINATOR.

Last year, Gatwech Chuol aka Gatwech Nyadol asked people at a certain event in AKOBO that, is education something that one couldn't be proud of? He stressed that, if one has completed his Bachelor's Degrees quest, he must be advertised and known to others for it isn't an easy activity to achieve.

In fact, to hold a bachelor's Degree is one of the remarkable life achievements which deserve a lot of celebration.

Congratulations Washington;

Who is Rev. John Lam Tot Yak in detail.

Well, I know, a lot of people may be eager to hear about his detailed biography, since Uztaz. Rev. John Lam is one of the widely loved individuals with a boundless significant contribution in the life of many people.

Rev. John Lam is by profession a theology graduate, and completed his Bachelor's Degrees at the University of Khartoum, Sudan.

He was one of the few graduates who made it to higher education as early as 1990s, and later applied their acquired knowledge to impart other South Sudanese who then live in Sudan/ Khartoum while we were struggling for our independence.

In Sudan, John became one of the key exemplars who volunteered themselves to open the free school where they taught an immeasurable number of students who today become change agents, positively impacting the community.

When we got our independence, he once decided to leave Sudan with an urge to continue giving out his services to his community.

He then went to AKOBO, and as a long serving teacher, with a remarkable teaching background, was once requested by the Education Department to join them in helping, transforming the education.

In fact, John loves to see change in other people's lives through his way.

He unwaveringly accepted their request, though it literally blocked his other tremendous opportunities which other departments offer, particularly the request he turned down from the local government who wanted him to be part of them.

In education, John became one of the greatest champions, rapidly improving its performance, more specially Akobo (A) Primary school where he once served as school Principal/Headmaster.

I was at that time a student of Akobo Primary school where he was its Headmaster. Sincerely speaking, you can't get a single person hated him. He was a kind of person, who even for today can't get his like! In school, John wasn't just a loved Headmaster; he was a friend to all students, and instead, was the very first person whom I learned that, human beings perform incredibly well in an appreciative environment than in the harsh threatening area.

With Rev. John Lam as a Headmaster, school was full of joy! He never fall behind to identify anyone's positivity. During the assembly, he would move from line to line, calling students with their names and respectively asking those who didn't make it to school the other day for their disturbances.

To exchange words with him, one would forget all his challenges back home. He was humorous and gave the deserved appreciation to whoever had done something important in school. There is no way one can provoke him and get annoyed. He takes anything simple and speaks with a smile on his face.

At school, he prohibited the use of coercion against the students from other teachers. All those who had studied at Akobo Primary school may forget other things, but couldn't ever happen to forget John Lam Tot.

As a highly devoted christian who equally took theology as his profession, it was doubtless that he completely mastered the CRE.

At school, he taught the CRE, starting from the lower primary to the upper classes.

In the class, John, wouldn't give only the lesson in the book. He used his period as an opportunity to give students what they may miss for their lifetime; he taught them how one can change others' lives if he/she gives sincere appreciation.

Rev. John is up to today one of the loved ones, not only the students, equally by the whole community of Akobo.

In 2021, I went to Akobo with Christian Mission For Development (CMD) as Education project officer, supporting the Secondary School.
It was a process started from scratch since the school didn't exist before us.
We immediately began to recruit the teachers, and effectively got the experienced qualified one, including him.

Nevertheless, John was nominated as a Headmaster, administered the overall activities of the newly established Akobo Secondary School that later became the First Secondary in the whole of Akobo County where the National examination took place.

With him as a Headmaster, there wasn't any doubt that he soon established everything and the school become to crowded with students.

In the midst of our project, we introduced the school to the State ministry through the County Education Department and efficaciously approved.

It was once added to the Centers which already existed and became one of the centers in Jonglei where the National Examination took place for the year 2022.

Through John and his hardworking team, (22) students managed to take the National exam and highly passed with an exception of only one student who performed below the average.

Therefore, when our project ended, John never ever failed the school! He continued improving the school's standard, and in 2023, (77) seventy seven students sat for the National examination and now waiting for their results as other students in the Country.

Overall, Rev. John Lam Tot is one of the rare humans whom the Akobo community is blessed with.

Therefore, we only ask God to maintain his health and keep changing the community as he has greatly been doing on the ground.

Bi kuoth te kɛɛl kɛ ji Rev. John Lam Tot Yak.

In detail, who is Nyachuka Moses Chot Riek, known to many as Chuk Mandong?

Well, initially, I would start by explaining the meaning of the word "Chuk" which has been combined with "Nya" and "a", brought together as a compound word "Nyachuka."

"Chuk" is a small water pot, made out of soil with a long handled neck, while,
Nya is a Nuer's traditional system of starting the female name with 'Nya', to differentiates it from males.

"A" at the end of her name is an additional alphabet, Nuer also use sometimes as a modernization of the name.

The main purpose of (Chuk) mentioned above is to keep water cool in order to easily quench one's thirst after a long working hour/when coming from a tiresome work.

In Nuer, it was culturally considered as one of the best water container, subjectively possessed by either elderly grandma/grandfa, head of the family, or other respected individuals in the community.

During those days, if anyone walked a long distance and felt thirsty, he/she would wish to get cool water of that container (Chuk) for a complete rehydration.

In short, Chuk Mandong was named after her Grandma's decorated water container (Chuk mi caa kɛt) which her mom was strictly taking care of, and become known in the whole area of Othil, by the communities of Chie-Bidit Both, Chie-Nyuak Weah and Chie-Majok Chan.

Her mother, Tirit Jal Wang Bidiet from the sub-clan of Both Doah Yol got married to Gen. Moses Chot Riek Pathot Ruach Tit Kuayie, hailing from Chie-Nyapuot Chan (Nyak Community) and blessed with four girls, including Nyachuka.

In the village, there was a perception where many families prefer boys than girls.

This was enormously referred to, as the traditional concept where the greater part of survival in the remote area was entirely centered on the cattle.

This has completely been proven wrong in the civilized world where the physical strength is not greatly dear than the intellectuality/innovative ideas.

Ladies in the town are fit to do anything than the greater number of men, and this is where Nyachuka Moses Chot belong.

I first knew her in the early 2000s, when I used to stay with my aunt in Othil, the very village of her maternal family, Chie-Bidit.

She occasionally went there to visit her grandmother.

At that time, Akobo town was largely inhabited by a few families, more dominantly the military commanders, pastors and other likes; their family was one of them.

If she came to visit us, you could see a big difference between her and the other girls in the area; her skin was smooth, beautiful and had a bright look , unlike our ladies whose eyes were spotted by smoke in the village.

On top of it, she usually put on some fashionable clothes which were by then quite rare in our whole village (Othil).

Once she came, you will hear people say, "She is Nya-general, Moses Chot Riek Pathot, who had been struggling over the control of the town with Timonthy Taban Juch "

At one point, her present would lower our esteem, may sometimes wish we could be the children of Generals.

Despite, how expensive the community took her, she was entirely kind and unwaveringly smiled.

Instead, we would slowly go closer to her and try to explore how best the town was, and why they seemed to be extremely wise and proud than us in the village.

Nyachuka would jokingly tell us, "our life in the town is equally similar to yours in the village." Though she would promisingly assure us of how important our life was in the remote, we still couldn't believe her.

In the meantime, I went to Akobo town for a continuous study.

I found her in Primary (7), one class ahead of me.

One thing confused me, and it's where the other females were!

she was only the female in the boys dominated class (P7).

In fact, I later realized that, we knew nothing much about her in the village.

In the town, she was one of the determined influential girls, familiarly Known for their respective qualities.

You may hear teachers used her as an example in school to encourage the other young girls to be like her.

In 2009, she left Akobo for Juba to further her studies.

She had stayed in Juba and later went to Uganda for the same purpose (study).

In the midst of the crisis, she made it back to Juba and lived for a while in PoC.

At that time, IDPs used to organize a lot of ceremonies to where artists would perform as mean of resilience.

Among others, she emerged as one of the best female Master of Ceremonies (MCs) who facilitated the community's events.

If any community organizes an event, and wants it to be exceptionally amazing, they would proactively invite her to lead the program. Nevertheless, she would do her best and everyone would go home and feel entertained.

In 2020, the Akobo Youth Association (AYA) board in Juba called the general assembly as a result of their end term.

Hence, the electoral Committee was formed and came to the time to go for election.

As someone who is passionate about community service, she once decided to contest for the secretary of Finance since she had a great faith in herself.

One evening, I received a call from her, informing me that she was contesting for the secretary of Finance.
I guaranteed her my support and told her to continue.

Despite, choosing this position, God had a big plan for her and this wasn't it!
She later changed her mind and decided that she would contest for the position of chairperson.

The next morning, I accidentally met her at the Custom Market; she went shopping.

When she saw me, she said, " Miyow, is good that we meet!
I might've called you later to inform you that, we are no longer going for the Secretary for Finance."
Indeed, we must contest for Chairperson ."
I once smiled and said, are you serious Nyamuong? She laughed and said, "I'm very serious Miyow."

"MIYOW & NYAMUONG " are the only names we used to call one another. My grandma, Jiekdong Dhil Kuayie, the mother of Gok Dech is from their very lineage, and was Nyamuong like her, while in the other hand, my brother, Kueth Rambang Gok married to her Aunt, Nyayien Puot Wang and her mother Tirit Jal Wang. She knew all our ancestral names.

When I observed that she was serious, I just told her to contest for it since she had high trust in herself.

I accepted it, not because I believed that she would defeat the eminent contestants for Chairpersonship, The like of Mr.Tet Mayiel Donge and Pal Wan Kuach, but, because I know, though she would be defeated, she must once get exposed to the public and won't get back to her previous level.

I simply urged her to start approaching people, since many people love to be recognized individually, than to wait for public rallies to inform them.
I then parted my way.

As she believed she could, she once started her campaign and progressively went well with her campaign.

I extremely appreciated her effort though I didn't make it as part of her campaign since I was tasked by the Electoral Committee to deal, restrictedly for Media activities.

At the Open-Air campaign, she eloquently presented herself and had had an increased support from youth.

When the election was done, she undoubtedly defeated her opponents, and officially announced as the First elected Female Chairperson for Akobo Youth Association (AYA).

That was the first time a lady became the Chairperson for Akobo Youth Association (AYA).

She was equally doubled as the first female c
Chairperson to hold the higher post for Associations in the entire state of Jonglei, based on lengthy research made, and widely shared by Media Houses after her announcement as a Chairperson.

Her inauguration was one of the rare/complicated swore-in, attended even by the Presidential advisor for Security affair and other high officials.

What utterly made them, accepted the invitation was because of having a female chairperson for the first time, though the whole credit goes to the Chairman of Electoral Committee, Mr. Maet Tunguar Puok who chose to invite the presidential advisor and managed to convince him to attend the event.

In her tenure, she importantly exposed the Association to the Country wide, recognized and invited by South Sudanese's associations and amazingly gave her best to represent the voice of Akobo Youth.

On 11, January, 2024, I made it to Juba after spending two years in Akobo.
I found that her term ended but a bit bypassed the dateline. This was because of the resources to hire the venue and call the general assembly to nominate the EC.

Such a slew condition gave here some criticism on the media.
Some critics were to personal to the extend that they criticised her personality.

As a media personnel, she sometimes asks me if I may know those who did that, but since there was no way to identify them, I just told her that I don't know them gurä.

In the meantime, some guys who were also defamed in a certain page were fooled by someone that the person behind that act was me.

They went to police and arrest me.

In that process, Nyachuka was equally manipulated that the person who criticized you is Khan.

They expressed a lot of unfounded evidence which made her think that I might be the one who criticized her and just gave her fake words.

This manipulation made her post on media, supporting my arrest.

The next day, I was released! Those who arrested me withdrew themselves after realizing that I they were fooled.

I then called Nyachuka and asked her why she wasn't believing in me when I talked to her several times.

To her explanation, she was almost to crying after getting the truth. She once told me, "sorry Miyow! This happens through confusion Gatmaar."

I once knew that she was just manipulated by her emotion and got back to our normal life.

To be frank, I don't just love her; Nyamuong is kindhearted. She loves our community beyond her person possession.

When her term ended, she was succeeded by Puot Marco Biel Luak, and instead, she never ceased to participate in the community.

She greatly appeared a lot in the community serving activities.

During the game between Uror (D3) and Jagei, Koch county in the Quarters Final, she was waiting with a lot of emotion that Uror shall win Kuoth!
No wonder, when the last goal was kicked in, she was the first person to run to the field for celebration.

She was almost to cry for happiness! She heartedly shouted Borchär! Lou Nuer, Lou Nuer! Borchär! She tried even to ululate in order to express her long disappointment as Akobo and Nyirol were badly lined out in the Groups stage.

Last but not least, people like her deserve the community's empower since their services are literally get back to the whole community.

Keep it up Chuk Mandong!

IMPORTANT REALITIES about the Minister of Water, Resources and Irrigation, Hon. Pal Mai Deng?

I believe, a lot of people want to know what I'm about to reveal!

Well, before we get into details, I want to walk you through his brief introduction: where he comes from, how he swiftly forthcoming to this level, and all other basic information which will guide you while going through his comprehensive background.

Hon. Pal is one of the top young emerging politicians, hailing from the eminent Lou Nuer Community, located in the Southeastern part of Jonglei state, Upper Nile Region.

He particularly originated from a small clan, (Nyääl Mach community).
Nyääl is one of the dominant communities at the Western part of Akobo County.

His mother, Nyalola Koang Chak Key, is a daughter to a well-known elder, Koang Chak Key from Chie-Pech Both lineage.

It's one of the major lineages from Chie- Yoal clan. In population, Yoal Joak Sub-clan is highly the major clan from Joak community that occupy the Eastern part of Akobo where the county HQ is located.

Though his paternal lineage was, and continued residing in the West, Pal was raised by his maternal community (Chie-Pech Both) in Akobo East.

He started his formal education at Akobo Primary School. A school that has for centuries produced a lot of influential people in all fields.

He earlier left Akobo for Ethiopia where he became a refugee at Pignido camp and continued his studies at the Refuge school.

In school, he appeared to be one of the brightest students who unchangeably led his whole class from Junior primary up to secondary in series.

During the holidays, he used to open a coaching class (Summer, according to those of Ethiopia) where he would voluntarily coach students who came for vacation before they went back to their respective schools.

At that time, there was a lot of competition among the top students. As such, Hon.Pal and Dr. Kolang Thok Yak, (now a surgeon), once divided their coaching classes, where Pal coached Chie-Yol students while Dr. Kolang on the other hand, coached Chie-Nyak students.

These were all considered as the learning process of upbringing and entirely brought the same benefits to the community.

As I mentioned above, being a bright student wasn't entirely representing his unique quality. Pal was literally identified earlier as someone with great potentiality of leadership. He loves to be a leader!

While at secondary school, he was the first student in Gambella Region to make a phone call and participated in the open discussion at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in London.

In School, he had a great influence where he oftentimes appeared if anything related to leadership was discussed, not only as a member, but equally as contestant.

Among the other students' leadership, he was once elected as a Chairperson of South Sudan students' Union in Ethiopia.

Similarly, he co-founded a lot of Associations which today still exist in Ethiopia's Gambella Region.

In his life, Pal was considered as a kind of an introvert. He didn't speak much! He solely intervenes if anything related to, initiation of new initiative, finding the solution of any circumstances, and other official discussion.

Such a lifestyle brought him a lot of enemies! Many folks claim, "He ignores people and singly moves with selective friends."

In fact, this is one of the most demanded characters in the book of "48 laws of power" to prevent you from being common to others and not taken seriously.

Thus, as someone who determined himself and knew what his internal instinct obliged, Pal didn't mistakenly Study a career, contradicting his life.
Instead, he followed his auto-suggestion by studying "The Public Administration at Addis Ababa University."

This was of course, the time, when Addis Ababa University admitted only the well performed students across the Ethiopia."

In earlier, 2011, before the independence declaration, he completed his Bachelor's Degree, and as soon, headed back home.

At that time, a well educated person like him couldn't stay unemployed. Pal was soon employed by Honorable Commissioner, Dr. Goi Jooyul Yol, now PhD, as a secretary in his office. They had worked together and later disagreed on what many people say to be the issue of survey. Of course, I have no extensive information about it.
Added on his duty with a Commissioner, he was among the few individuals who revitalized the Akobo Youth Association (AYA), organized its first official election and brought it back to life after its longest disappearance.

All along, Pal didn't have the chance to step into his political quest, and instead, was preferably optioned to work with NGOs, where he served in various capacity and performed as required.

On 15th, Dec, 2013, fighting broke out and now came as a chance for everyone in the grassroots to have access to the decisions makers of oppositions group.

✓ Inception of his political career.

In 2013, after the war broke out in JUBA, he was on the ground, working with an NGO, "Pact Sudan" , holding the administrative position.

As a matter of fact, Pal wasn't passionate about serving in NGOs.
He uses it as a waiting Zone, since there would be a time to get into where he knew he could be.
Meanwhile, having a revolution where each one is allowed to participate, based on his capacity, immediately pressured him to resign earlier and joined the movement.

In early 2015, he went to Pagak, "The SPLM-IO HQ" , where he later walked the long distance along with other officials to the Frontline, Malakal.

In Malakal, he physically participated in the numerous combats where he eventually came back after the general call from the HQ.

When they came back to Pagak HQ, there was another order that, all officials must go to Booth, "The SPLM-IO Military Training Center."

It was as well, one of the TERRIBLE Frontline in SPLM-IO revolutionary history.

On their way, they had resisted a lot of ambush, defeats, and indeed, had lost the large number of their companions.

In Booth, he was selected among others as a Secretary of the Division, recording all activities related to their work.
The Barrack was in the meantime demolished and captured by the government.

They then evacuated back to Mathiang and later to Maiwut where all those who were not entirely mean to be soldiers, specifically the officials look for their way back.

Hon. Pal was among them! He made it out and proceeded as far as Akobo West, Walgak, where he rested for a while and looked for another job from NGOs.

He successfully made it to Oxfam, as a Human Resources officer.

A position he served-in for a short time and later resigned to go and lobby for commissionership, when the SPLM-IO leadership established the (21) states which made Akobo, divided into three (3) counties.

Hon. PAL never ever failed in lobbying, though he usually encountered a lot of resistance after winning any of his positions.
He was appointed as a Commissioner of Akobo West, with its Headquarters, Walgak.

This came with a lot of resistance from Walgak community after they were fully influenced to reject him.

He later became a Commissioner that you can't believe could greatly be loved the way he was, by the community.

As a Commissioner, his administration was utterly loved by the state government (Bieh state). The state was by then led by the bravest Governor, Late. Gen Hon. Koang Rambang, my beloved nephew, "May his precious soul continue to rest in peace", and his Deputy, Hon. Simon Hoth Duol.

Those three leaders, Late, Hon. Koang, Hon. Simon Hoth and Pal fought tirelessly with invaders to protect the Civil population.

Unfortunately, Late, Hon. Koang succumbed to Asthma, and unexpectedly died.

This came with a great dismay to the entire community for he appeared to be one of the influential leaders with all the qualities of leadership.

He was brave and an orator that, he managed to influence youth to protect their home.

This untimely death happened during the time of war when the government forces were just at the trenches in Waat and frequently attacked people.

This made the SPLM-IO leadership to wait no longer; as soon, Hon. Simon Hoth was pushed to the position of governor and as well, Pal was brought from commissionership to Deputy Governor position.

He had once exercised the duty of Deputy Governor, and later acted as a Governor after the Peace Agreement was signed and all states were switched to defunct states.

When the government was formed and diverted to ten states, Hon. Pal failed to secure any position in the R-TGoNU.

He therefore, planned to go back to school to continue his studies. However, he was admitted at Arb,Minch University to study's MA.

He officially started his classes and completed one year.

In the National government, Lou Nuer Community has only one Ministerial position. It was and still to date the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation.

It was by then presumed by Late. Hon. Manawa Peter Gatkuoth Gual.

In June, 2022, Late. Hon. Manawa passed on. The cause was said by the Doctor to be high blood pressure. It happened after a heated week of National reaction about the dredging he signed with the Egyptian Government.

After he died, his position became vacant, and required someone from the very community, "Akobo Community" to occupy it.

In Akobo, SPLM-IO had only some upcoming politicians, since a lot of seniors remain with the Government.

Hon. Pal was one of those upcoming politicians.

At this point, all the influential community elders who had stayed with him during his leadership in Bieh state love him.

As well, they want him to be the successor in the ministry.

In this process, they forced him to leave school and come to Juba for physical lobbying, stressed that they don't see anyone fit to occupy that post rather than him.

Pal listened to their call and came to Juba. In Juba, politics became hot, in which the whole community asked SPLM-IO leadership to substitute the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation with the Ministry of Petroleum.

As I mentioned earlier, Pal had spent a little time in politics, and knew what to do to win his interest.

Despite the others' claims for substitution, he and his Group, stuck to the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. They knew, Dr. Machar will easily accept it and give it to him since he doesn't want to trouble himself with Jikany.

This was indeed accepted! He was decreed as a Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.

This happened with a lot of reactions.

Frankly speaking, I was one of those who extremely rejected this decision.

I condemned it and wrote a controversial article about the unfavorable relationship between Lou Nuer and Dr. Machar.

This was because the appointments didn't happen the way I wish it could be.

From there, I continue to dislike Pal, no matter, what he does!

Despite how enormously we rejected it, all our reactions couldn't stop him from being a Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.

He was already appointed and could singly prepare himself for work; how he could execute his roles.

As a minister, the task has now become high, compared to his previous duties.

It requires a lot of confidence. Besides, there was a great demand to speak fluently in either English or Arabic for weekly presentations in the Council of Ministers, and other parts of your duty.

Pal was a graduate of Ethiopia! He may speak Arabic wherever he could learn it, but wouldn't entirely qualify him in the highest position like that.

On the other hand, Ethiopia was of course stereotypes, in which, whoever studies there didn't expect to fluently speak English.

Despite, all those expected challenges, he proves it beyond any doubt that, Ethiopia is a remarkable place to study.

Pal speaks in English fluently than some of those who study in the Western world. His presentations are full of technical information concerning his Ministry.

Overall, his confidence in exercising his duty makes the whole community proud.

I later realized that, the reason why, a lot of people, including me lobbying for his removal and criticising him on social media for long but all doesn't get function was because he is rightly capable.

Why do I decide to write these important realities about Pal?

Well, first of all, I want to reveal to each one of you that, among those who were against him, I was one.

In fact, I dislike him based on how people proactively described him before I personally analyzed my attitude and explore more information myself.

All along, I had never been in close contact with him. The first day I came into contact with him and exchanged some words was in 2022, at Dembesh Hotel, when he was appointed as a Minister.

I went there to congratulate him. I met him and greeted him but could discuss anything rather than telling him "Congratulations" and parted.

This was our first time to meet and never introduced myself to him since there were a lot of people.

Before that day, he just heard of me and I equally heard of him frequently.

In the late of 2023, he went to Akobo along with the Akobo County Commissioner as part of the accompanying team.

During that time, I was in Akobo and had met for a short time to introduce myself to him. To his response after I disclosed my name, he said, "You are a strong young man Mr. Khan."

We exchanged these words while standing at the upper sitting area of the commissioner's residential house.
Those were the only few words we expressed and just separated.

He came to Juba along with other delegates and I remained at Akobo.

On 11, January, 2024, I came to Juba for my own business.

In Juba, we just see one another during the events and not discuss anything.

In the last two months, there was a letter widely shared on social media. He was the one who wrote it to the "Peace Canal", requesting their management to free Mr. Koang Puok Diew for he has been too much involved in politics which was mostly against him "Pal."

To be frank, I was the first person to share it, condemning him in the strongest term, possible, and described that act as entirely perilous.

This action I took once connected me with all his opponents who supported what I did.

Of course, I had a chance to hear from the very people who opposed him for long. It was up to me to analyze whether whatever is being said about him is true or not.

I actually chose to analyze them, and not just to condemn him by just following the crowd.

Through my extreme continuous analysis, I wasn't convinced with all the accusations, made.

If I asked someone to express all the negative parts of him, He/she would just express some simple claim, which, if I analyze them, I would simply conclude that the main reason was just a political competition among the peers.

Truth must be told, Pal was before him defined and introduced to the community wrongly.
The way people perceive him is not his real lifestyle.

If you analyze the recent reactions over the letter he wrote to the "Peace Canal" may just make you condemn him like I did if you don't want to find out the reality in anything concerning him.

Ok, if you are someone who wants to be guided by the truth and ask the following questions, you will be convinced that there is some sense to do what he did.

The first question that you may ask is, is Koang a politician?

If you say no, he contested several times for political posts, and if you say yes, he seems to be an NGOs worker. In conclusion, he is a politician unless if we called someone as a politician after holding the political post.

Again, if you feel pity and try to blame him, why does he want Koang to be removed from his job! of course, this is politic and its main objective is to first destroy the strength part of your opponent so that he can't be able to block your ways, which wasn't what we think as laymen like the way I did.

In conclusion, I want to tell you my people that, through my lengthy analysis without outside interference found that Hon. Pal is blameless to what people say.

What many people spoke about him, compared to his positivities after my thoughtful exploration, watching his presentation within and outside the country, how he implements the ministry's projects, his interaction within the city and eventually his political root/influence in SPLM-IO convince me beyond any doubt that Hon. Pal Mai Deng is merely criticised.

If the appreciation is alive, he is one of the few who deserve the community's compliment.

Brought this to your attention in order to denied baseless allegations which were for long time expressed about him while they aren't been there.

Thank you
