It has been one year since you appointed me as Executive Director in your office to the time of my relieve from duties. One year on the job working closely under your guidance and stewardship has made profound impact on me as a person and my career in public services, an impact that will last a lifetime. I am truly grateful and indebted to you in many ways.

Your excellency, I write to you with deep sense of gratitude and appreciation because having appointed me from among millions of South Sudanese professionals to be your executive director is a rare chance of great honour and I would live to cherish and be proud of in my entire life. You picked me among equally other competitive South Sudanese not because I was the best among them yet you bestowed this noble task on me as part of your strategy to empower and develop the youth for whom you sacrifice a great deal during the two bitter wars of the then united Sudan.

Your excellency,
As I begin to transition to new endeavors and as I have told you on several occasions, I remained a loyal supporter and steadfast admirer of your strong leadership as you steer our country to greater stability and prosperity. May God protect you and continue to keep you in good health as you surmount more challenges of nation building.

To my colleagues in J1, one year working with you was indeed full of learning. We faced some challenges together and addressed those challenges united as a family. PUBLIC UPDATE BY JUBA SUB-COMMITTEE FOR FUNDS RAISING FOR NORTHERN BAHR EL GHAZAL UNIVERSITY

The Juba Sub-committee for Funds Raising for University of Northern Bahr El Ghazal would like to update the public after one full year of funds raising. The sub-committee resolved on its meeting dated 23rd April 2023 that one month would be given to those who declared their pledges for the University during the time of funds raising event held last year 2022 at Freedom Hall. The main aim of giving one month to pledgers is to organize themselves and honour their pledges to avoid misunderstanding and lack of confidence from the public when they hear huge amount of money while the little progress is going on in Aweil at the University promises.
The Juba Sub-committee will call the public particularly the sons and daughters of Aweil after one month to present what has been collected, deposited and what is still away not paid by those who pledged. This will boost accountability and confidence in funds mobilization for our well dreamed university. There is no pressure from any group of people in calling for this but to avoid leaving public in darkness without update. We felt that we have to be on the same page together whether there are challenges or not. The lists for those who pledged, those who turned up and those who did not turn up will be published.

The Juba Sub-committee was formed in 2020 through gubnertorial order with clear terms and reference of mobilizing funds for the University of Northern Bahr El Ghazal and deposit them to the block account.

Today 06 of April 2023, Commissioner of Aweil East County Hon. Kiir Yor Lual, laid the foundation stone for the construction of a Police Station Containing four Cells at Wanyjok Town.

However, these foundation stones were for the construction of:
1. Police Station Containing four detention Cells
2. Four dishes, for males and females, adult males and adult females
3. Police Administrative office

The project was funded by UNMISS Police Department and implemented by Aweil Diocese.
Launching was attended by the Aweil East Police inspector, Brig. Gen. Piinydiing Kuol Makuec and Sultan. Athiang Dut Akot and other county officials.

Moreover, Hon. Commissioner, acknowledges the work done by UNMISS and appreciates it.

Monday 6/March/2023, Hon. Tong Aken Ngor, Governor of NBeG-state visits Aweil East County to officiate the launching and the opening of the internal roads in Aweil East County especially in;
1. Wanyjok
2. Macharmou
3. Mabil
4. Panapuoth
5. Gordhim
6. Magakyel
7. Parööt
8. Majakakoon
9. Buothyar plus others surrounding areas within Wanyjok Town.

However, the governor was received by the Executive Director of Aweil County Mr. William Deng Mou, and the director of land & survey of Aweil East Mr. Anei Chan, as well as the other County government officials.

During the reception, Executive Director briefed the governor about the ongoing work and logistical challenges that might impede the progress of clearing and opening of internal roads, he also expressed his grating and appreciation to the governor and Dr. Benjamin Bol Mel for their support toward the authority of Aweil East County.

On the same note, Governor thank the people of Aweil East for their good corporation with the Company and directed the county authority to speed up the opening of the roads before the rainy season.

Thursday 19th Jan 2023 The Commissioner of Aweil East County Hon. Kiir Yor Lual met with the Executive Director of Meram Sudan who is also the acting commissioner. Today in Majakwuoi, to receive the condolence Msg sent by the Government of Sudan over the recent killing of two people Payam administrator Mr. Akech Angok with his deputy Mr. Arol Deng and left other two people wounded in Warguet Payam.

In the meeting, the commissioner of Aweil East County Hon. Kiir Mahlol demanded the handing over of the suspect to the government of the Republic of South Sudan, and express his sadness for the inhumanity act that always repeats itself to our people and in our territory. He also asks the government of Sudan to make the possible effort to stop Arab Messiria from attacking our territory.
On the same note, Hon. Kiir Yor assures the government of Sudan that, we on our part as a government of NBeG-state SSD able to control the security of Sudanese and their stability at the border, but our brothers in the government of Sudan wouldn't do that why? How long our people would be kept killed? When will this stop?

Achai Wiir's visit to NBGS-Aweil was a long term plan. This message is going to those who criticize her visit. Infact, Madam Achai Awet Alor's visit to Aweil exactly collide with untimely killing of our sons who were once serving as Payam administrators of Warguet in Aweil East County. May their souls rest in peace and may the good Lord comforts the family of the late brothers.

Achai's visit to Mading Aweil was good for two mean reasons and any person with humanity can appreciate that unless otherwise.

1- Madam Achai Wiir donated over 50 motorbikes to our sons and daughters of NBGS especially people with disability. Why not appreciating her for this move and instead criticizing her visit? Don‘t you know that you are against the services given to our vulnerable people? God have mercy on us.

2- Achai Wiir promised with assurance to construct some lecturing halls for Aweil University. To have a functioning university in NBGS is a call for all, not only students but including almost everyone even those who do not know how to write A B C D. Why not giving her BIG appreciation in capital letter for her contributions towards our state? Remember Aweil University was recently approved and will soon be operationalize. Nhialic kony kacku for we do not know exactly what we are criticizing. We are fighting our own progress.

Cde Tong Akeen Ngor as a Chairman of SPLM of NBGS after hearing the incident of Warguet sent a delegations headed by Acting SPLM Secretary Cde Abraham Manyang Diing among other Secretaries to joined the mourners in the burial process and he (TAN) will be available in person during the funeral rate prayers on date to be arranged by the family of the victims.

I therefore call upon my brothers whose their reactions reached social media outlets criticizing Achai Wiir's visit to Aweil and the state government to reserve some respect to our leaders for leadership is a gift from God in the most high. My brother Larson Angok Garang also need to find a room in his heart to understand that fighting a war with an individual has no link with a whole community.

Mading Aweil is known worldwide as a peace loving community and to maintain this spirit, it‘s a collective responsibility. Thank you so much.

The office manager gets his movability challenge resolve

The office Manager of the Aweil East county commissioner expressed excitement after his transport challenge has been addressed by his Boss.
Mr. Garang Agany Ateny, who doubled as Office Manager and Press Secretary to commissioner Kiir Yor spent nearly two years footing and boarding a bodaboda which he pay from his pocket said he finally received a gift that solved the mobility challenge.

Garang wrote this on his Facebook timeline
"Hon. Kiir Yor Lual, thank you, our commissioner who is also interim chairperson of the SPLM party Aweil East County. For the great inspiration on what makes a good leader in you. It is rare to find a great & public figure in services, who is a good leader with qualities of honesty leader, confidentiality and courage in making good decisions, and compassion, as well as a style of listening to the needs of others.

However, you have been supporting me with a lot of things, but the movability issue that you addressed is not an easy thing.

Friday, 9/December 2022, Commissioner of Aweil East County, Hon. Kiir Yor Lual joined hundreds of mourners this morning in Malual Kon airstrip to receive the casket of the Late Hon. Deng Majok Athian, Member of the Councils of State, passed on 24/Nov. 2022. During the receiving of The body were members of the NBeG-state Assembly and the state ministry of finance.

However, the body was accompanied by Hon. Philip Akot Malith and family members including the son of the Late Hon. Deng Majok.

Hon. Kiir Yor Lual, Commissioner of Aweil East County extended his deepest heartfelt condolences to the family, People of NBeG-state, and South Sudanese in general for the untimely passing on of the late Hon. Deng Majok Athian.

Finally, the body of the late was laid to rest in his House, at Majak Ajuong in Aweil East County.

May almighty father rest the precious soul of Hon. Deng Majok Athian in eternal peace.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the situation of the people and listen to the community concerns and their priorities needs.

During the remarks, Hon. Kiir Yor Lual, thank the community of Baac Payam for their huge turned out to welcome him and his accompanying delegations. He conveyed special greetings and messages of peace and love from Hon. Tong Akeen Ngor, Governor of NBG-state. He added that his government is on negotiating with different organizations regarding the cutting of funds from some Hospitals, to be refunded and government also will take the responsibility for those hospitals that have been cut from the funds (HPF list). Hon. Kiir added that the government had reached an agreement with Messeryia and the government of Western Kordufan of Sudan for the opening of the border of Mareem Majok Yithiou and it's been opened now.

On the other hand, Hon. Commissioner assured the community that the government is aware of all the challenges that are facing them, especially the issue of
1. Health
2. Water
3. School
4. Roads
5. Network
Including other basic services need. The government will work to solve some of them.
He gave examples of other highlands boreholes projects that are finished.

Finally, the Commissioner of Aweil East County appreciated the people of Makuec-athian Baac Payam for the support and loyalty they showed to their government & encouraged them to keep this spirit.

Response & clarification for a video circulating on WhatsApp groups, This video is alleged to have emanated from someone named Santino Anyar Anyar who is believed to have a personal connection with individuals whose interests were threatened by the opening of the road.

Dear Public,

On Thursday Date 02/June /2022, the fake video had been circulated by individuals on Whatsapp groups until it reach our office. This video is alleged to have emanated from someone named Santino Anyar Anyar, who is believed to have a personal connection with individuals whose interests were threatened by the opening of the road as I say in the above-mentioned. Santino Anyar Anyar sent this video to more than four people and he "went on telling people that" this happened in Rum-mamer which is not true there is nothing that happened in the border.

Hence, I want to approach public attention regarding this video before it reaches other media, the video belongs to Boko Haram one of the largest Islamist militants group in western Africa, that always kill people based related to religious and Islamic politics. And in particular, the video slaughtering person on it was in Niger which was in "2018" 4 years ago. It has no link or connection with Sudan leave alone of being happened on Mereem road.

1. There's nothing like that happening on Mereem and Majok road.
2. no person disappeared or is alleged of being missing from that road.
3. This video had goes viral on Whatsapp inboxes of individuals who just like the lasting insecurity on our border.

Therefore, I would like to condemn the propagandist who believes in unfounded lies with the strongest terms possible for creating unverified information to tarnish the image of our border without any conceivable matter.

Finally, I'm here to let the public know that there's nothing like that happening on the border between Mereem Majok road if there's anything that happens we would let everyone know it, per you're reading this post. Our people are moving smoothly please disgrace that video.

On Date 31/5th/2022 yesterday. The Commissioner of Aweil East County Hon. Kiir Yor Lual, participated in a joint meeting to operationalize soft- the border concept between South Sudan and Sudan. The meeting was held in Majak-wuoi, Northern Bahr el Ghazal State, closer to the border with Sudan. There were high-profile delegations led by Lt. Gen. Martial Stephen and Lt. Gen. Al Amin Mohamed for South Sudan and Sudan respectively. The meeting was attended by the Commander of division three infantry, Maj. Gen. Akuei Ajou Akuei ( Akuei Abusala) security Advisor for Northern Bahr el Ghazal State Hon. Akok Aleu and Hon. Commissioner of Aweil East County.

The meeting discussed the "readiness" of both countries to officially declare the four crossing points open. Merrem - Majok-yinhthiou is one of the four crossing points agreed by both countries to be opened and managed under soft - border policy. These efforts are complementing the initiative undertaken by the States of Northern Bahr el Ghazal and Western Kordofan to open the border in a meeting held in the same place more than a week ago. I thank the leadership of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State and that of both countries for this great decision to officially open the border for the benefit of the citizens in both countries.

RESPONSE TO CDE WOL WIEU WOL AND WILLIAM WOL WOL

I am here to briefly respond to the posts of the two brothers who have accused the Ministry of General Education and Instruction in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State that Ayat West School has the been undermined or denied to benefit from the FFE.

It was last year before the current Minister when I instructed education partners to give the helping hands as support to Ayat West Primary who hosted children without parental care and ofcourse partners went to School and their reports was that there's a need to support children but not in a School owned by an Individual or unless we change ownership in order to support School as one of the community or public school.

My position as Director General for SMOGEI in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State didn't change as we speak, support is still underway and I don't know why do brothers insisted on the sectional differences and used it to tarnished the image of the Education. The issue was reported to Governor and he instructed to provide food as recommended by the Ministry of General Education and Instruction. Solomon from WFP was warned about these children.

For the case of Ustaz William Wol Wol who was removed from his assignment, there are many rooms or other assignments a head of him and this is none of the business to Wol Wieu Wol because I am the accounting person to SMOGEI in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State-Aweil. Take example of the County Education Director who removed William Wol from the assignment, he was also removed from the County and likewise to everyone of us deserves to what we called office routines.
I have been in arguments with many politicians in greater Ayat about Schools to either in West or North counties but all of them fall under the Ministry whether under Malual West Payam or Marialbaai Payam.

There was an issue of detention of teachers salaries from the two payams but handled it order that any teacher serving under West or North Counties shall be paid accordingly which is done.

Finally the ongoing activities in the Ministry of General Education and Instruction in Northern Bahr El Ghazal State are the collective responsibility and as well as the results of team work under the leadership of Hon. Tɔŋ Akeen Ngor who shakedown the fruits of the tree that are making pools of it to make a difference shape of our Ministry.

Stop hatred and make sure that you keep doing good things as people mentioned.

What are the qualities of a good police officer?” Which skills and qualifications should an officer have, to be successful and respectable in their roles?
I learned many roles from my late father Lieutenant General Richard Makur Athorbei, from his police character at home also when I helping him to typed his book back in 2015, even though I’m not a police officer, but I understanding, how police officers should.

When thinking about the top characteristics of a police officer, words like brave and heroic may come to mind. Police officers, after all, are the source of safety for the general public. They are the professionals who respond to local threats and emergencies. They help to keep criminals off the streets, and work to protect citizens and their communities from harm. This job is not easy, and there are many capabilities – beyond strength and bravery – that officers must possess to be great at what they do.
Question could come to your minds, why I’m writing this article. Well I saw a good character of a police officer in NGB Aweil and that officer is Captain Guot G. Akol, he been doing a great work in terms of communication and he knows how to deliver the message to the public though social media and other source of communication. I salut you Sir, keep it up
