Aweil Musician State Coordinator Denies Singer Mapia One's Visit to Aweil for Music Concert

Aweil Musician State Coordinator, Wal Wal, also known as the King of Dinka Flow, has denied the visit of singer Mapia One for a music concert in Aweil in January 2025, stating that the only singers who will visit Aweil are Professor K, Coozos Clan, John K Øñê Good Singer, and Reddy Warrior.

He informed music lovers that they should not believe that singer Mapia One will visit Aweil for his first concert. He also added that he was not aware of Mapia One's coming to Aweil, and as the Coordinator of the Musician Union in Aweil, he should have been informed first.

"The only Lake States musicians who will visit Aweil Town from December 2024 to January 2025 are Professor K the Lecturer, Menimen - Coozos Clan, John K Øñê Good Singer, and Reddy Warrior. He also added, 'Don't believe any rumors about MAPIA ONE Dictionary coming to Aweil.' He is good at designing posters before confirmation. I'm not aware of his concert, and there is no venue for his show; we don't allow two concerts at the same time. January 1, 2025, is booked for Malual Junior," the Aweil Musician State Coordinator narrated to the media.

Early this year, Wal Wal declared that Singer Mapia ONE will never perform in Aweil, following his statement in which he called Aweilian singers "too local" to represent the music of South Sudan.

The family of Yum Kiir would like to inform the general public, friends, in-laws, and colleagues that the last funeral rites of the late Sultan Juwiir Yum Kiir will be held tomorrow, Saturday, 7th December 2024, at his home village, Marialbaai, Aweil West County, and another one in Juba, Hai Referendum.

Late Sultan Juwiir Yum Kiir passed on in Juba on The 28th, November-2024 at the age of 106. Your presence to give words of encouragement to the mourners will be highly appreciated.

An elephant and a dog became pregnant at the same time. Three months later, the dog gave birth to six puppies. Six months after that, she was pregnant again, and nine months later, she gave birth to another dozen puppies. This pattern continued for some time.

Eighteen months later, the dog approached the elephant and asked, "Are you sure you're pregnant? We conceived on the same day. I've already given birth to a dozen puppies three times, and you're still expecting! What's going on?"

The elephant calmly replied, “There’s something important I need you to understand. What I carry isn’t a puppy; it’s an elephant. I only give birth once every two years, but when my baby touches the earth, the world will feel it. When it crosses a street, people will stop and stare in awe. What I carry is powerful and majestic."

She continued, “Don’t lose faith. When you see others receiving their rewards quickly, don’t feel jealous if yours hasn’t come yet. Don’t despair. Instead, remind yourself, 'My time is coming. And when it does, people will be amazed.'"

Wunrok Police arrest two suspects for assaulting police

At least two suspects have been arrested by the police for allegedly assaulting police officers in Wunrok Payam of Twic County.

On Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm, police force was sent to Wunrok town following a youth fight; however, those involved in the fight decided to beat the police officers sent to intervene in the situation.

Lieutenant Colonel Atem Deng Atem, the Inspector of Police in Wunrok Payam, identified the suspects as Majak Deng Deng, age 18, and Ring Mony Deng, age 20, who are now in police custody.

“The two suspects have had wrangles since last year, after Majak Deng allegedly stabbed Ring Mony using a knife—they did not resolve the matter, and since then, they have remained enemies,” Atem told Mayardit FM.

“The three youths were fighting around 5 PM in the Wunrok town roundabout. So, I sent the police officers to separate the youth, but they turned to fight the police; two policemen sustained injuries on their faces after the youth beat them,” he explains.

Colonel Deng added that this is the fourth time for such an incident against police since the beginning of this year.

The Family House of Gen. Akol Koor in Munuki has been attacked yesterday evening at 8:00 pm by men in military uniform who entered and claimed to have been ordered to raids the house in search of guns and other weapons. Fortunately, they didn't get any weapon or ammunition, the house search caused misunderstanding between the two family members in the house and unidentified men in military uniforms, random shooting occurred within the compound, which left Gen. Akol Koor’s cousin Mayom Koor Mayom, a student of Law at the university of Juba wounded.

According to the neighbors (eye witnesses) who runs away for their safety during shooting, the raiding took time and no government intervention, it’s not yet clear as to where the soldiers came from, SSPDF spokesman is yet to release any statement.

Mayom Koor sustained a serious injury in his belly and abdomen.

Neighbors’ Eye witness reported.

Warrap man self-castrates to prevent future r**e claims

A young man in Gogrial East County, Warrap State, has removed his only testicle in response to allegations of molestation.

James Kuot Apuruot Chol faced accusations in 2020 of attempting to forcefully have s*x with an unnamed girl.

By then, Kuot was a leader at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the county.

Three years later, the 26-year-old cut off his testicle after confessing to the crime, which he blamed on the organs. Consequently, he sufferred excommunication.

“Because people have doubts about me, I want to remain safe in the world so that no one can mistrust me again,” Kuot told Mayardit FM on Tuesday.

Second testicle
Even after Kuot left the area for Tonj, his brother continued to accuse him of molestation against his nine-year-old niece.

The latest accusations prompted Kuot to return to his residence in Gogrial East and dispose of the remaining testicle over the weekend.

Eyewitnesses say he used a razor blade to remove his last testicle at Man-Anyir village on December 1.

“As you heard from me, and you also heard from other people that I have castrated myself, I did it,” he explained.

“If you heard again that I committed adultery with someone’s wife or I have attempted to r**e a girl, then you will be my witness. I don’t have testicles, and a person cannot pe*****te a female when he has no testicles.”

Meanwhile, Luony-Aker hospital head of nurses, Bol Reech Gom, confirmed to this publication that Kuot has totally lost his manhood.

He said that the man will remain infertile for the rest of his life due to the loss of the two testicles, adding that he is of sound mind.

“I have made the assessment on his mental stability, and we found out that he is stable mentally,” Reech said.

“Two things are possible: he is not going to have children again. His faith has dragged him to commit something unacceptable in human life. It is unlawful.

“He is lucky because castration without a painkiller can kill immediately. So, we rescued him. He is now okay.”
