South Sudan Gospel Music Revolution concert kicks off in Kampala City on Saturday 5th October 2024. A team of South Sudanese Gospel Artists, producers, promoters, event managers and gospel music lovers travelled to Kampala in three different batches. The last batch left this Thursday.
The music concert will take place in the Sudanese Church located in Kabalagala, Gbaba road. a number of South Sudanese Christians in Kampala are expected to turn up for the event.

TABAN PARIDE ELECTED SSNYU CHAIRPERSON

The 3rd Convention of South Sudan National Youth Union (SSNYU) has elected Mr. Taban Paride as the new Chairperson of South Sudan National Youth Union (SSNYU) for the next four (4) years.

Mr. Paride was pronounced Winner by the electoral committee after a prolonged voting and counting process. He get 48 votes out of 137 votes. The rest of the votes were shared by the remaining 5 candidates.

Mr. Paride, who hails from Eastern Equatoria State, replaces Mr. Gola Boyoi Gola, the current Chief Administrator of Pibor Administrative Area.

South Sudan President Salva fired Hon. Emmanuel Adil Anthony from the position of Governor of Central Equatoria State and appointed Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani in his place.

Gen. Jadalla is a veteran who contributed enormously in the struggle for the independence of South Sudan and has served in a number of positions years back.
