The South Sudan Pension Fund manager Nul Mayendit today said his office is ready to retire 2000 civil servants. "We need to encourage retirement," Mayendit said. He added that the University of Juba today graduates 10,000 students who will otherwise be critical of the government and continually opposed the government if not involved in government.

Nicholas Haysom urges parties to respect the Revitalized Peace Agreement. The Secretary-General’s Special Representative for South Sudan, and Head of the United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS) issued the statement in a press release.
