The AfNet Flexible Grant is a funding opportunity designed to support initiatives led by women leaders and organizations dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. The grant provides up to $5,000 and is opened to:
Nonprofit Organizations
Grassroots Organizations
Community-Based Organizations
Individual Leaders
Social Enterprises
Applications are ongoing, and the application should be made in English.

2. Funding Opportunity: Women’s Leadership & Political Participation Fund 2025

UN Women, through the EU-funded WYDE (Women and Youth in Democracy) Initiative, is inviting applications from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) and Women’s Rights Organizations, including youth-led groups, to advance women’s leadership, political participation, and inclusive governance.

Open to registered NGOs, women’s rights organizations, and youth-led CSOs working on:
Gender equality and women’s empowerment
Policy engagement and advocacy
Democratic governance
Successful applicants will receive grants ranging from USD 45,000 to 150,000

The long wait has come after year of silence as it has hindered our freedom to choose our leaders, we became silent in seeing a ray of new hope for our beloved candidates

Mukaya communitys became eager and determined to put the school’s legacy into silver lining. Aspiring leaders are now ready to amplify the voice of students and accept the challenge of change. Now that we had this rare chance, the battle took place once again. As we adapt ourselves to the New Normal, mukaya community have seen opportunities of making a school of great leaders with exquisite advocacies.

Let us all clasp this chance, treat it like a shining star that will light all mukaya payam and lainya county at large, as our future leaders will raise the torch of new hope, and this hope will be filled in each of our hearts. Together, let us be a catalyst of change and a burning torch to be raised higher that everyone can see.

on Friday 30/8/2024 the local government council lainya headed by Hon. Commissioner ROBERT JOHN MORRIS LASU has issued a local Order no-1/2024 for the formation of a committee aiming at examining the financial records approve budget and assets, all disposal of government assets.
