WHAT IS NEXT FOR GATLUAK BUOM PAL?

It has been two weeks since the Gambella Liberation Front/Army leader commander Gatluak Buom Pal set foot in Gambella soil after a peace deal 🤝 between his group and the Ethiopian Federal government.

Two weeks down the road, there is no concrete information to the public and the supporters of GLF or supporters of reforms and the content of the agreement 🤝 wasn't conveyed to the public yet.

"We believe in him (Gatluak) and we believe that he gave his life for us and that's the reason we want to know the agreement 🤝 so that we can contribute to it positively" said a young supporter of Gatluak who preferred to remain anonymous.

LONGECHUK COUNTY YOUTH CLEARED MATHIANG - UDIER ROAD

Longechuk County youth have today started clearing trees and bushes on Mathiang - Udier road 🛣️ for easy access of humanitarian food to the people living in and around Udier. Mathiang is the county headquarters where huge humanitarian services and businesses stationed.

In a letter written by Longechuk County Youth Association Chairperson Mr. Mading Tut the clearance of the road is to facilitate easy movement of food aid supplied by World Food Program (WFP) to the people living in Udier. In addition, this will boost businesses in Udier and increase productivity in the county. The commissioner of the county Mr. Dak Tut Dey, local authority and all the youth participated.

Supporters of Gambella Liberation Front/Army led by commander in chief Gatluak Buom Pal are heading to Gambella Airport to receive him (Gatluak) ahead of his arrival today in Gambella town.

Commander Gatluak who was recently a rebel has signed peace agreement with Ethiopia's Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed and he is coming to Gambella for peace. Last month, Gambella Regional State Vice President, Mr. Thangkuey Jock met the deputy commander in chief Gatluak Pal in Juba for peace negotiation.

Commander Gatluak Buom Pal is expected to arrive today in Gambella town.

CHIEF OF GLF, GATLUAK BUOM PAL LANDED IN GAMBELLA:

According to a source inside Gambella Regional State Government, Mr. Gatluak Buom Pal the leader of Gambella Liberation Front/Army has landed in Gambella town yesterday 26th/March/2023.

He is here to negotiate permanent cease fire with Gambella Regional State Government leaders and possible power sharing in the government. Mr. Gatluak is being guarded by Ethiopian Commando Force, the source added.

Meanwhile, Ethiopian Human Right Commission arrested a number of Gambella officials including some of Gambella Special Force leaders for allegedly participating in the killing of 50 Oromo speaking civilians in Gambella town. The arrested including former commissioner and former deputy commissioner of Gambella Police Commission Mr. Abula Obong and Mr. Tut Khor respectively.

Nuer Christian Youth For Peace And Development (NCYPD) members across the world 🌍🌎 left for Nasir County in South Sudan 🇸🇸 to conduct the 16th Spiritual Peace and Restoration Conference under the theme from 22 March to 26 March 2023.

Nasir County Headquarters is a town haunted with lack of peace given the existing tension between SPLM IG and SPLM IO in the town. Last year, the conference was held in Akobo County, Jonglei State, South Sudan.

According to Martica Martin Amb. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth mourns Artist Late Khor Chuol Tochlel aka KC in UNMISS POC1 with the Nuer Community. KC March 19, 2023 the Late Artist KC was laid to rest and the Funeral Prayer was organized in POC1.

Amb. Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth urged the mourners, specially the Nuer Community members, to embrace peace. He also appealed to Dinka and Nuer, as brothers and sisters, to unite and work for Peace so that South Sudan can be united and developed since these two communities are the majority in the country. The unity of Dinka and Nuer will mean unity of the whole of South Sudan, he added.

K-Denk 𝗪𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵 PAID TRIBUTE TO THE FALLEN HERO, KC!

K-Denk, a well organized musical icon in South Sudan (bases in Canada) who hails from Jikäny community (Nasir County) paid tribute to the fallen hero, KC.

KC whose real name is Khor Chuol Giet was a top hip-hop icon in Nuer community and South Sudan at large. Recently, KC succumbed to sickness (as reported by several media outlets) in Juba and was laid to rest yesterday in Juba.

The international hits maker wrote his condolence message through his page and wished KC had children he could support. Earlier this week, K-Denk was regarded heartless by his fans online for allegedly blaming KC for his drug addiction. In another separate post, K-Denk said his language (English) was misunderstood because many of his fans aren't educated to understand his sole English. In another separate post, K-Denk said that his followers are so educated and this may mean apology.

Today, he (K-Denk) issued his condolence message for loss of one of the greatest musical icons in Nuer community and South Sudan 🇸🇸 at large.
