The Aweil South County Football Team, led by President Mr. Simon Ayok Mayath, invites the footballers of Aweil South County to a private meeting in Hai Salam. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the upcoming rematch against Aweil West, as organized by the Aweil Counties League Committee.

Aweil West has raised the following complaints:

1. Fan Conduct - Aweil West has reported that fans of Aweil South ran onto the field when Aweil South scored a goal against Aweil West. This behavior is not in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Aweil Counties League.

2. Player Conduct - There was an incident where a player from Aweil South allegedly assaulted a player from Aweil West.

The Aweil Counties League Committee has decided to dismiss these complaints and has scheduled a rematch between Aweil South and Aweil West.
Aweil South has rejected the rematch. If this situation is not resolved, we, the Aweil South team, may withdraw from the Aweil Counties League.
We encourage all stakeholders to attend the meeting for further discussion and to reach a resolution.

Key Concerns.
1. Marriage System Issues : We need to address the challenges surrounding our marriage practices to ensure they reflect our values and support our community’s well-being.
2. Theft of Livestock : The ongoing theft of cattle, sheep, goats, and other livestock is harming our livelihoods. We urge the chiefs to take action to protect our resources and maintain security in our community.
3. Transport Restrictions : The recent halt in transporting livestock from Aweil to Juba is impacting our economy. We call for a review of these restrictions to facilitate trade and support our farmers and herders.
4. Trade of Crops : The transportation of sorghum and groundnuts to other states is a concern for our local economy. We need to ensure that our agricultural products benefit our community first.
We urge the chiefs to take immediate action to address these issues. It is vital for the well-being of our community and the future of our youth.

To the Office of the Governor of NBGs, Hon. Simon Uber Mawut,

Your office plays a vital role in supporting all five counties, as well as our neighboring friends from Eritrean team and Sudanese team, to motivate participation in the Aweil Counties League tournament. This tournament falls under the responsibility of Hon. Governor.

It is important to note that all counties are facing significant challenges in the Aweil Counties League. We kindly request your support in providing accommodations for players and coaching staff, t-shirts, medical treatment, food, playing kits, and uniforms for the coaching staff.
We urge you to respect and support this initiative in advance. Additionally, we appeal to the State Ministry of Land and Housing in NBGs, Hon. Daniel Kang Deng, for your support. It is crucial to remember that support should not be limited to just one county. Aweil Center County is your home county, but assistance for all counties is necessary.

2nd Champions: Saruk Football Club
Saruk Football Club, established in 2022 under the leadership of Mr. Jacob D**g Aleu, has emerged as the current champion of the SSD Cup 2024. This club has consistently demonstrated excellence in Aweil South Local Football Association.
Previous Champions.
1. Young Star Football Club-
1st champion of the SSD Cup in 2023. This remarkable achievement marked the first time in Aweil South's history that a team took the South Sudan Cup, making it a significant milestone for our region.
Saruk Football Club will proudly represent Aweil South County in the National South Sudan Cup 2024-2025.
