Aweil Musician State Coordinator Denies Singer Mapia One's Visit to Aweil for Music Concert

Aweil Musician State Coordinator, Wal Wal, also known as the King of Dinka Flow, has denied the visit of singer Mapia One for a music concert in Aweil in January 2025, stating that the only singers who will visit Aweil are Professor K, Coozos Clan, John K Øñê Good Singer, and Reddy Warrior.

He informed music lovers that they should not believe that singer Mapia One will visit Aweil for his first concert. He also added that he was not aware of Mapia One's coming to Aweil, and as the Coordinator of the Musician Union in Aweil, he should have been informed first.

"The only Lake States musicians who will visit Aweil Town from December 2024 to January 2025 are Professor K the Lecturer, Menimen - Coozos Clan, John K Øñê Good Singer, and Reddy Warrior. He also added, 'Don't believe any rumors about MAPIA ONE Dictionary coming to Aweil.' He is good at designing posters before confirmation. I'm not aware of his concert, and there is no venue for his show; we don't allow two concerts at the same time. January 1, 2025, is booked for Malual Junior," the Aweil Musician State Coordinator narrated to the media.

Early this year, Wal Wal declared that Singer Mapia ONE will never perform in Aweil, following his statement in which he called Aweilian singers "too local" to represent the music of South Sudan.

Open letter asking Member of Parliament, minister of information Hon. Michael Makuei Lueth to apologize.

This is one of the most misplaced statement ever, Hon. Michael must understand that he's representing citizens and on the same note, he must always understand that he's where he's today because of citizens. High call and internet tariffs have had negative impacts on individuals, businesses, and the country at large. It's essential for policymakers, regulators and service providers to work on ensuring fair and affordable pricing for communication services to navigate these negative consequences.
Here are major negative impacts
1. Reduced communication: High tariffs can discourage individuals from making necessary phone calls or using the internet for communication purposes. This can lead to reduced connectivity with friends, family, and colleagues, impacting relationships and limiting opportunities for collaboration and networking.

2. Limited access to information: High internet tariffs may make it unaffordable for individuals to access vital information online, such as educational resources, news updates, or health information. This can hinder educational and professional development, as well as limit access to important services and resources. We are in 21st century where knowledge that used to be kept by libraries is completely democratized and finally sitting on internet.

3. Inequality: High tariffs can exacerbate existing socioeconomic inequalities by limiting access to essential communication services for low-income individuals and marginalized communities.
Unless these high call and internet tariffs were designed by elites to exclude poor and marginalized citizens from accessing informations.
