SECTARIANISM IS A POISON!
Sectarianism has tarnished the world with its stained of conflicts, divisions and death!
It’s unfortunate for the Dinka in Jonglei State to worship this deity that has overturned kingdoms! It’s unfortunate to see how on earth people rejoice when falling apart !
Division has caused wars and has torn down communities! Tell me the benefits…!
Yeah, One would wonder why a community of learned men and women would allow the few uninformed Facebook lecturers to educate it with hatred and superstitious feelings!
How should we as a community drinks from this fundamentalism poison of divisions of Tom Group and Amankat ?
It’s not wise!
The few who are misleading our communities must refrain from this!
Majority are innocent even within Twi ,there are people who don’t want this bigotry!
There are some also in Bor and Duk counties ! We must settle our differences with love!
The transition from Dinka Bor ( The former Bor district inhabitants) shouldn’t be a poisonous debate that will throw the whole of our future into the pit of no recovery ! We are learned and must always show this in our everything!
We must debate peacefully and friendly; for instance; I have been a supporter of Dinka Bor’s name like Dr. Garang did …but times change…it doesn’t work for now because Bor is no longer an administrative name that unites us…it’s solely for Bor county which is now being called Bor Community; As Dinkans in Jonglei State …We have Athoch, Gok, Twi, Nyarweng, Thony, Hol, Luach , Thoi , and Paweny; if there’s anybody in Bor Community who reasons like me then with wisdom these communities cannot and will never be called Jieng Bor! This is ignorance and egotism! We need wisdom in everything we do!
Some of us came from Padang, Equatoria and Bhar El Gazal…We are not being called by those names…We have sought names that unites us!
So, in simplicity ; What unites Nyarweng and Twi for example is that we are Dinka in Jonglei State…period.
If Bor community stands by the name Dinka Bor that’s well and good… it doesn’t need fights and threatening the other Dinka not to do anything related to name change ceremony in the county including the capital-Bor.This is uncalled for !
Bor Town is the headquarters of all the inhabitants of Jonglei State including non-Dinkans! We must stop poisoning ourselves with such outbursts of hatred and divisions!
Let’s seek for what unites us than what divides us!
Sectarianism is a poison never taste it!
