The General Assembly of the South Sudan Basketball Federation, the SSBF, has suspended Federation President, Luol Deng.
The Assembly reached the decision in an extraordinary meeting on Thursday.
The spokesperson of the General Assembly, Andrew Akuei, says the action was being taken after Luol Deng failed to present his four-year report before the assembly as his tenure came to an end.
The assembly also resolved to form a committee to investigate his administration and allegations of financial violations levied against him.
Meanwhile, Luol’s suspension has been rejected by a group calling itself the ‘South Sudan Basketball Federation and State Association.’

Expressing his disappointment, Mapia stated, "Even my young son, who is a baby, cannot sing like that. These songs should not even leave the studio." He urged fans to refrain from supporting what he deems "fake songs" and from endorsing untalented musicians.

Female South Sudanese citizens will no longer require visas to visit Egypt, Egyptian Embassy in Juba announces

The Egyptian Embassy in Juba has declared that female South Sudanese citizens will no longer require visas to visit Egypt.

Furthermore, visa exemptions have been extended to two additional groups: men over the age of 50 and minors under 16 years old.

According to an announcement from the embassy, South Sudanese are advised to visit the embassy in Juba for further visa-related inquiries.
