The delegation of South Sudan Senior Men's Football National Team arrived safely in Juba this morning from Morocco, after their AFCON preliminary games. The team was received by the president of SSFA, Gen. Augustino Maduot, Members of the Board of Directors and the Altras Association.

In his remarks, the chairperson of National Teams Committee, Mr. Michael Murjan praised the players and the administration for their hard work that led to the qualification of the Bright Star to AFCON group stage.

Meanwhile the head coach of the national team, Mr. Nicolas Dupuis said that the team achieved the most difficult fixture but will focus on the next stage, which requires a lot of work and effort to be put in.

Finally, the president of SSFA, Mr. Augustino Maduot Parek, conveyed his application to the team for achieving what has been required of them by qualifying to the next stage. Adding that, it's a great movement and the players should put their focus on the next stage.

The General Assembly of the South Sudan Basketball Federation, the SSBF, has suspended Federation President, Luol Deng.
The Assembly reached the decision in an extraordinary meeting on Thursday.
The spokesperson of the General Assembly, Andrew Akuei, says the action was being taken after Luol Deng failed to present his four-year report before the assembly as his tenure came to an end.
The assembly also resolved to form a committee to investigate his administration and allegations of financial violations levied against him.
Meanwhile, Luol’s suspension has been rejected by a group calling itself the ‘South Sudan Basketball Federation and State Association.’

Mapia One Dictionary, renowned for hits like "Keep Talking," has taken to social media to mock John Frog's latest single, "My Bed." In a Facebook Live session, Mapia criticized John Frog for what he perceives as poor lyricism in the song.

Expressing his disappointment, Mapia stated, "Even my young son, who is a baby, cannot sing like that. These songs should not even leave the studio." He urged fans to refrain from supporting what he deems "fake songs" and from endorsing untalented musicians.
