Summary of the statement Yanga released yesterday. 🚨🇹🇿
1. Apologized to fans.
2. They made preps for the game and ready to play.
3. During pre-match meeting Simba didn’t give a statement that they want to train at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium a day before the game.
4. A day before the game, Simba arrived at the Mkapa Stadium with many vehicles to train.
5. The stadium security authority prevented Simba from training that night because they didn’t inform them they’ll come to train prior to the game.
6. Simba released a statement on the eve of the game, they’ll not honor the fixture.
7. Premier League boss says, game can go ahead then in the afternoon, the game is postponed.
From Yanga, this is what they want:
• award them the 3-points because Simba boycotted the game.
• they won’t play against Simba SC if a new date is announced.
• they lost faith in the Premier League Chairman and asking the Tanzanian FA to sack him and appoint a competent person.
• asked all fans and members to be patient with Yanga.
