Negative effects of oil spills and wastes and why unity state citizens must by any mean stop the hazardous operations of oil companies in state.

What is oil spills?
Oil spills that happen in rivers, bays and the ocean most often are caused by accidents involving tankers, pipelines, refineries, drilling rigs and storage facilities and leaks, Spills can be caused by people making mistakes or being careless. equipment breaking,
Much of the oil we use for machinery, vehicles and industry is deep below the surface of the Earth oftentimes, When oils rigs or machinery malfunction or break, thousands of tons of oil can seep into the environment with help of water flow or flooding the spill effects on environments and habitats can be catastrophic to living things in specific ways they can kill plants and animals, disturb salinity/pH levels, pollute air/water and moreover this is exactly what's taking place in Bentiu.

OIL SPILL EFFECTS ON ENVIRONMENT IN WATER;
The oil environmental impact on water is damaging in a variety of ways. When there are oil spills in the freshwater, it does not blend with the water. Oil floats on the surface of fresh water. Over a very short period of time, the oil spreads out into a very thin layer across the surface of the water. This can block sunlight from reaching inward water environments, which can severely impact fishes and all water inhabitants and thus, the entire food chain of an ecosystem which depends on water is devastated and would soon diminished all the lives.
This catastrophic event is speed up by layer called a slick which expands until the oil layer is extremely thin and can spread hundreds of miles wide.
Rough flooding can split an oil slick apart, carrying some oil in one direction and more in another. In contrast, a near land surface oil spill can be totally controlled by currents and wave action that causes the oil to come out near the end of floods, this results to exposing animals that come to drink from such a water body and also plant and green pastures are chemically polluted.
In worst case in place like Bentiu where people drink directly from surface water, thousands of oil particles are taken with water per person daily, which in long runs can rooted into diseases such as cancer, emphysema, heart problems, depression, neurological impairment, post-traumatic stress disorders, stomach illnesses, genotoxicity and endocrine toxicity etc. These diseases in most cases are difficult to be cured and also its can sometimes alter genetic material in which possibly cause mutations in genetic material.
In other bad factors petroleum is refined to produce gasoline, heating oil, propane, and other fuels. If not managed properly, these products can adversely affect humans, wildlife, and the environment thus its adverse health effects can include skin irritation, eye irritation, dizziness, headache, nausea and, and in extreme cases, shock death in both humans and animals.
In other hand when this flooding water and rivers drain off, the oils don't infiltrate in the soil neither it completely dries out from land, its congested on the surface and becomes flammable when its come close to the fire which in process burns the surrounding areas in disadvantages of environment and livestock.

How does oils spills affect the general environment?
Intensification of the greenhouse effect associated with global warming and climate change, acid rain, photochemical smog, reduced atmospheric visibility, death of forests, ozone depletion (from firefighting agents), soot/heavy metals deposition, poor water quality, surface water/groundwater contamination, soil

How can state authorities and concerned people stop this hazardous threat?

The most common causes of petroleum release incidents are preventable. Oils workers, construction workers, homeowners, and renters need to understand the potential health and environmental consequences of damaging gas lines when digging. Additionally, members of the public (common citizens) need to be made more aware of how to recognize oil leaks and of what can happen if the misused petroleum products are not identified and put off.

How can operating companies help in solving environmental issues and other factors affecting people in unity state?

Oil companies and state government should collectively coordinate to provide clean water to all state populations, creating new jobs for youth, encouraging local businesses to be a part of community development projects, overall, oil and gas production can foster economic and social development by providing access to affordable energy, opportunities for decent employment, and skills development, increased fiscal revenues, and improved infrastructure,
therefore if all these are not meet by concern authorities then the civil population should stop oil operations in state.
SPOC and GPOC should stop exploiting a people of unity state.

The man right behind the Guinea President holding the umbrella is the leader of today's coup against Alpha Condé.
Choose your close circle wisely, the one who holds an umbrella for you today might be the one to hold guns on your head tomorrow.
Look carefully around you, your best friend can turn out to be your worst enemy.
Those who break bread with you might be the first people to dig up a grave for you!
We never know, this world Is full of surprises.
Lest we forget that Thomas Sankara was a great leader overthrown and assassinated by his best friend Blaise Compaoré.
President Sankara, who came to power in a coup in 1983, was killed by a commando on October 15, 1987, at the age of 37, during a coup that brought his then comrade-in-arms, Blaise Compaoré, to power. ... Compaoré, who was himself overthrown by a popular insurrection in 2014.

Breaking news.

Rwandan President Paul Kagame yesterday appointed a 19-year-old boy as minister.
Patrick NKURIZA 19 years old, appointed Minister of New Technologies and Development of RWANDA by Paul KAGAME.

As the saying goes; ′′ Value does not wait for the number of years to come ".
In any case, the least we can say is that this saying fits perfectly with the fate of Patrick Nkuriza, a 19-year-old Rwandan youngest appointed Minister of New Technologies and Development of his country.

Indeed, this little genius experienced a dramatic rise to the point of getting the baccalaureate at 14 and obtaining a PhD in digital communication engineer afterwards.

Patrick is a real gifted person who has developed several applications that allows his country to perform his activities in a lot of economic areas. So it is right that he is appointed a minister in his specialty.
