We are pleased to announce the release of a short documentary film, "Addressing malnutrition through community effort in South Sudan," which highlights the impact of Welthungerhilfe's work in Rubkona, Bentiu, and Unity State. We present the narrative of Nyanath, a young woman residing in "Site D," close to Bentiu—an area where individuals relocated following the severe floods that devastated Unity State in 2021. To this day, flood waters have not fully receded, and most people have not returned to their original homes.
We followed Nyanath through the process of getting her child screened for malnutrition and later referred her to a nearby health facility to undergo treatment.
We would like to thank WHH for the opportunity and the WHH Team for the support during the production of the video.
