MARIIRDIT AJITH NYAKUOI

Though Bor county had strong wrestlers in the past, Ajith Nyakuoi was a unique wrestler that everyone can agree. His name in wrestling Arena squad that was used to be led by legend Majok Jokrir, legend Ajak Ngong Oka , Legend Ajang Garang among others was a serious matter and mostly feared like former leading wrestlers e.g Legend Athieng Manyang , Garang Athieng -Wen Nyanlandit , Legend Kul-Aluk, late legend Alier Jombo Kuot , Yai Ageer among others in 1990s.

He had wrestling styles that most of his opponents feared and no one from opponent sides was usually ready to face late legend Ajith Nyakuoi in any organized wrestling between Bor County and other wrestling communities .

Within Bor County in particular, no wrestling community was ready to face Kolnyang Payam because late legend Ajith Nyakuoi was a threat to match during his wrestling reign and few communities who had tried to face Kolnyang during late Ajith Nyakuoi’s reign of wrestling, no wrestler succeeded while facing him except recently after he retired from wrestling that was when some few wrestlers were ready to face him and defeated him but from 2008-2016, it was not admirable to accept wrestling with late legend Ajith Nyakuoi.

Ajith Nyakuoi is not existing now in Bor county's wrestling Arena. It will take us some times to get a wrestler with attributes of Late legend Ajith Nyakuoi.

South Sudan wrestling federation's fraternity, Jonglei state and Bor county in particular has lost one of her finest wrestlers that we have ever had.

My sincere condolences to the family, relatives and Kolnyang Payam community in General.

The Governor of Jonglei State Denay Jock Chagor has reiterated calls on cattle keepers displaced to the Equatoria region to take their livestock back to the state.

The relocation of cattle to Jonglei state has been slow due to lethal ambushes on the herds and herd-men. However, many camps arrived, others close to Jonglei territories and many more on the move back to Jonglei in the Equatoria region.
