He Created A Solar Powered Commercial Mini-bus - Could he be the smartest kid in Sierra Leone?

This is the story of James Samba who has made his way through the electric car industry just by mere passion and dedication. Now, he has his own company - Sierra Electric Inc. that manufactures solar powered electric mini-buses in Sierra Leone with great potential to do more.

Note: This video was first published in 2022 on Gbla TV Online and won the award of best feature story in 2023 at the Sierra Leone Assocition of Journalist Slaj Sierra Leone Media Awards. It is now being adapted into this format to reach a wider audience.

Latest scary development in the country 😳

The Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (Slaj Sierra Leone) has called on authorities to mount an immediate investigation into the apparent brutal k!lling of journalist Samuel Brima Mattia.

This comes following the discovery of the lifeless body of the journalist in the Western Area Rural District Thursday 16th January 2024, under suspicious circumstances.

Indeed this is a worrying development in the Sierra Leone media landscape; sending shock waves about insecurity and vulnerability in the journalism profession.
