*International Organization for Migration (IOM) conducted two days workshop with its partners in Makeni.*

On the 16th and 17th Sep. 2021, IOM conducted two days workshop with its partners on IOM Sierra Leone Country Strategy in three keys areas
1. Resilience
2. Mobility and
3. Governance.
On the opening statement of Director of IOM Mr. Moses Comber he started by giving warmly welcome to all participants and also a background / main purpose of the workshop is to engaged with CSO, Ministries like Labour and Social welfare gender and Children affairs, Immigration department, Councils and the Human Right Committee on to make in there input on this draft country IOM strategy.
Mr. Comber forther his statement on this three keys areas giving the definition of this words.
*Resilience* Enhance the protection of Migrants, displaced person communities by addressing underlying Vulnerabilitie irregular migration.
*Mobility* addressing the mobility dimensions of crises is Central to saving lives and reducing humanitarian risk, Vulnerabilitie and need.
*Governance* Ensuring good governance in the process of regulating migration through enhancing effective institutions, transparent and regulations, protection of human rights.
Mr. Habert Smith who is the facilitator gave a details explaination on this three keys areas and said this document will also used to the genda 30 of the 17 SDGs and later set up three groups of the participants to give their own input, comments reduction and recommendations
