The Management of Star Line Radio 98.5FM and Karima TV Channel 36 Kenema is deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of the legendary cultural artist Lansana Sheriff, known as Steady Bongo, who tragically lost his life in a road accident on December 7, 2024.

Mr. Sheriff was an instrumental figure in our country and a dear friend and brother to the entire management team. The bond he shared for many decades with our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Sidie Fofanah (alias DJ Snow), our manager, Massah Sellu (alias DJ Massel), and the entire staff will always be cherished. His loss is profound, and we mourn together as a family.

May his soul rest in peace. Ameen.

His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio has urged his cabinet ministers and their deputies to avoid distraction and focus on delivering on the campaign promises he made during the 2023 general elections.

He was addressing his ministers and their deputies at the Ministerial Retreat in Bo city, Southern Sierra Leone, where he also said they should not leave things undone on their desk for more than one hour.

President Bio said: "There should be collaboration and coordination between all of you. You don't have to be friends but you can consult each other when the need arises. Collaboration should be both horizontal and vertical at all times".
