I am deeply saddened by the news of a true Legend Steady Bongo's passing. His incredible talent and contributions to Sierra Leonean music have left an indelible mark on our hearts and culture. Steady Bongo’s melodies and spirit will always resonate within us, reminding us of the joy and unity he brought to many.

May his soul rest in peace, and may you find comfort in the cherished memories and the lasting legacy he leaves behind. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

*Sierra Leone Film Industry, Labour & Marketing Guild (SL FILM Guild)*

The Sierra Leone Film Industry, Labour & Marketing Guild (SL FILM Guild) wishes to invite the entire membership of the Guild, including (Producers Guild, Directors Guild, Actors Guild, Cinematographers and Technical Guild, and Screen Writers Guild), as well as all members of the Sierra Leone Film Council, all Film Organizations, Independent Filmmakers, and the entire film family to an important meeting.
Agenda:
1. Update on the Film Policy
2. New Developments and Plans for the Growth and Progress of the Film Industry
3. Open Forum for Concerns, Suggestions, and Input for Moving Forward

This meeting is a great opportunity to provide updates on recent developments affecting the industry, outline plans for the future, and hear directly from you, our members, on how we can work together to advance our shared goals. Your voice matters, and we encourage everyone to attend.
