The Evening Walk in Arboretum Volčji Potok
The Evening Walk among the Lights experience is being staged in the Volčji Potok Arboretum for the fifth year in a row, inviting visitors with around two million lights stretching on 35 hectares in the botanical gardens north of Ljubljana. The lights will be lit every day from Friday until 6 January.

The idea is to train detectors to recognise real videos, instead of training them on deepfakes.

Carpaccio back in Koper Cathedral after major restoration
A precious Renaissance painting of Mary with the Child by Venetian artist Vittore Carpaccio was unveiled at the Koper Cathedral on Friday after five years of painstaking restoration. Ljubljana Drama theatre set to open season at new temporary home
Representatives of the national theatre SNG Drama Ljubljana, whose building in the city centre is undergoing long-awaited extensive renovation, have announced that the adaptation of the L56 substitute venue in the industrial zone in the Šiška borough has been completed in time for the 2024/2025 season. The first show is scheduled in a week.

The Norwegian Pearl anchored in Koper on Sunday as the 1000th cruise ship to sail into the port since it embraced cruise tourism in 2005.
