Welcome to Byte Liber, an online social self-publishing platform designed for authors and readers alike. Established in 2015, our mission is to provide a platform for people to publish and read books globally without any upfront cost, while at the same time fostering a community of passionate readers and writers. Our platform officially launched in August 2019 and has since received grants from th
e Singapore government as part of the startup fund. In the beginning stages of our startup, we were fortunate enough to receive help from members of Business Network International (BNI), including Mr. Stephen, our platform developer. Their years of experience and contributions to the platform brought us to another level. Our founders, Keith Yap and Daniel Lee, are both passionate about self-publishing and saw a need for an all-in-one platform that included socializing features such as creating posts, liking, sharing, and commenting, as well as blogging and exploring for more content. With extensive experience in finance and design, respectively, they came together to create Byte Liber. At Byte Liber, we are committed to supporting indie authors and providing a space for them to showcase their work. We have a partnership with Alis Padasian, a local indie author who has successfully sold her books "Magnolia 1976" and "Sinarut 1994" digitally through our platform. Additionally, we provide support to indie authors by purchasing their books with our own money and hosting giveaways to increase awareness of their work. We're dedicated to making it easier for authors and publishers to reach new audiences, and as part of that mission, we've partnered with Bibliobuku, a well-known Malaysian bookstore and publisher. Through this partnership, we help Bibliobuku publish their books digitally on our platform, making it possible for readers around the world to discover their amazing titles. We're proud to work with Bibliobuku and support their efforts to bring great literature to readers everywhere.
