The kids grows at an astounding speed, they seem to morph within the blink of an eye. From a helpless little bundle to someone with their own thoughts and feelings. I know this sounds cliche but well... Deep inside I do hope to have some recognition that I did okay as a dad. Maybe a sincere thank you from the kiddos, as well as a cupcake or two?

We do appreciate media kits celebrating these special occasions very much of course (not like we get any these days), but I think what I really crave for, is the love from the kiddos.

And I know for sure, that I would not want to rely on just a single day in the year to be the dad in their lives. Happy Father's Day to all daddies out there.

Before we knew it, our Japan trip is already coming to an end. Realized that I never took as much photos as I normally would have or posted as much as before.

Trying to live the moment as much as possible and hopefully create wonderful memories for the family to look back.

This post happened also because I had time to kill while waiting for our flight back and scrolled through the photos. So when is your next family holiday?

Caught the preview of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes with the family earlier and the kids got all confused because the storyline was hundreds of years later. We miss Caesar and Maurice!

Quite thought provoking as well, like how history or teachings can change over time or be manipulated by victors to suit their agendas.

It's like we have been spring cleaning ever since we moved in (first photo was 6 years back) but the mess never seem to get any lesser. 😅 I wonder why... 🤔

Although cleaning can be satisfying but it is usually not much fun. We would like to spend more time having fun rather than trying to satisfy other’s expectation of my home.

Hence with the 6 kids (me included), the last few photos show the actual perpetual state my house is in and reflects the high tolerance level of my wife! I think a helper to do all the housekeeping would be good. 😆

We did have helpers before but now all of us are the part-time maids. The older kiddos had asked if we could have a helper and honestly speaking, I am kinda considering one.

I do know of one agency that has kindly offered a $50 discount for any of their services when you simply quote [STEVEN50FF] or Steven The "Perfect" Father when enquiring via call / WhatsApp.

They do provide full-time helpers so meanwhile I will also be working out my sums too, to see if I can afford a full-time helper or not. 😊

Louie enjoyed schooling me on what other movies some of the actresses and actors acted in as well. 😅 I think he watched more ang moh shows than me lor.

Enjoyed the movie, although I was quite ??? on how some peeps can become heroes just for correcting mistakes caused by them in the first place. But I just saying nia la.

I have seen Mr Ricky Ong, CEO of JR Life Sciences a couple of times at charity events, a humble and friendly person and thus why not when I was asked if I would try out their new Bio-Elixir from .

Obviously I cannot vouch for its efficacies of repairing, rebooting, renewing and relaxing just by tasting a few satchets, but I would trust our local home-grown companies, especially one that has been around for 17 years, over others.

The Bio-Elixir is concentrated, tastes somewhat fruity at first but also leaves an aftertaste which I find still manageable. You know how some parents complain about the need to keep kids occupied during school holidays right? Well, we are cool as our kids are pretty capable of looking after themselves, so we can continue our work lah.

However we do sometime question our parenting choice of leaving them to their own devices lor. Like they are always glued to screens when we get back home. So when the opportunity to send the youngest 3 to a holiday camp popped up, we jumped at it.

The youngest 2, Louie and Starri joined a Multi-Activity camp meant for 3 to 12 year olds while Stacci joined a Cooking camp meant for 6 to 14 year olds. Best part is, transport to and fro can also be arranged so no headaches for those carless like me.

To be absolutely honest, we do not know if they would enjoy it over their unlimited screentime. They actually grumbled a little too. But lo and behold, they were happily relating their fun experiences to us when they get back home daily!

The 5-day Mulit-Activity camp had a different theme such as Science, Robotic, Drama, Cooking and Craft everyday. Cooking class on the other hand, had kids cooking up a storm, learning differemt dishes daily!

Camps like these are great for kids to socialize with others and pick up new skills. I love it that the "professors" and "chefs" pay great attention to every participant, a trait that the kiddos spoke fondly of.

I swear the 3 kiddos were already asking us when they can join again! Hence I can confidently say that I will personally recommend Newtonshow camp for your kiddos as well! Check them out here - https://www.newtonshowcamp.com/

Are you aware that Domino's Pizza has introduced a new Cheese Volcano Beef Pepperoni? That cheese dip in the middle tasted like nacho cheese, which was very appetizing for kids and adults alike. Took only Louie and myself to finish the large pizza with cheese in every bite lor!

Never tried Stand Up Paddling before and I thought it would be easy standing up on the board. But wahahaha, I kenna slapped in the face.

The kids did pretty well lah, while I fell into the water at least 3 times. Great fun though, but must get adequate sun protection hor!

We did the 2 hour introductory session which would give you a very good idea if you would like to continue with this sport or not! Can check out for more info.

Just tried the lastest sweet dessert puff, Red Bean Yam'O from . Not too sweet and I love the dried tangerine within. Yummy! They are available from now till end Jan at $2.30/piece.

And hor, they are also selling Prawn Rolls and Love Letters at their outlets for the month of Jan! I thought I need to try to know but walau a, I cannot stop at one prawn roll la!

Love Letter was solid too, with Mao Shan Wang cream. I open only, the wife can smell from across the table! Both are going for $20.80/bottle or any 2 for $40. Can buy from the usual delivery platforms too. Thanks for sending the CNY goodies over!
