To me, health is the key success in life. Most people take health for granted, especially mental health, which has been downplayed and/or stigmatised till today. As someone who had lived with moderate depression and generalised anxiety disorder, I know how crippling these unseen health issues can be for both the person, and those around them. Overcoming health challenges have made me stronger, more vigilant of any possible relapse and most importantly, become more empathetic towards others.
I have focused on my career in the past 17 years and am glad to have achieved most of my career goals. That said, I've learned to balance all aspects of life and not let my work take hostage of my inner joy. A happy & purposeful life is what we are all ultimately seeking, so don’t let your job (or one aspect of your life) define you.
