Farewell, 2021.

Hello friends :) Sorry for the inactivity lately. I have decided to go completely offline, and spend quality time with my loved ones over the holidays. Hope you all had enjoyable time with your family as well~

So this is it! It’s hard to believe that the year has come to an end.

Truthfully, 2021 was nothing like how I hoped for it to be…Everything has pretty much been a blur leading up to this point and I have never felt more lost.

It is still uncertain if I will continue making content here on IG for the rest of 2022. Lets just hope that there’s enough fuel and motivation left to keep me going.

That being said, I’m still grateful for everything that has happened, and continue to appreciate life for what it is: an endless road of uncertainties (and surprises).

Thank you guys so much for the constant love and support throughout 2021, despite the hiatus and all. It means a lot to me.

Here's hoping that 2022 brings us lots of new and exciting opportunities in our lives. Wishing everyone a wonderful new year ahead!! -Ben

This smart display just got a whole lot smarter 🤯

So, the folks over at Google Singapore was kind enough to send me their latest Nest Hub to review and after having used it for a week, I’m impressed~

The new Nest hub still pretty much functions the same as its predecessor, with slight improvements to the speakers and design…

BUT, the key defining feature of this year’s model is Sleep Sensing 💤 which helps to track and analyse our sleep schedule and behaviour, all without the need of a separate wearable!

During my time of testing, the Nest Hub has been spot on when it comes to identifying the moment I fell asleep and when I woke up 🤩. It also provided a comprehensive breakdown of my sleeping pattern. Very cool~

And speaking of cool, You can now snooze the alarm with a wave of your hand 👋 . Say what?

All in all, I think that the new Nest Hub is worth the upgrade, especially for those who are already using it as an alarm clock like I do.

FEELING L A Z Y TODAY 🛌

Happy Sunday 👋 How is everyone doing today?

I Had a pretty slack Sunday myself; was loafing around the entire morning before settling down to work 🥱

It does not help that my bed is literally right beside my workspace.

Does anyone here faces the occasional problem of crawling back to bed while working from home? 😅

THE REVEAL.

It has been a long time coming; 3 months of deconstructing, planning, shopping, organising and mostly just waiting because COVID things.

THIS IS MY DREAM SETUP✨.

Having used my last setup for nearly 6 years, I guess my taste and preferences have changed quite a bit since then. I found myself gravitating towards wooden accents over the monochrome aesthetic ⚪️⚫️.

And since I work from home full time now, I wanted the space to feel warm, inviting and peaceful for optimum productivity, while retaining that cozy dark vibes I needed to unwind at the end of the day🍵

So yea, that was the inspiration and direction behind this makeover! I hope you guys are diggin’ this new look as much as I am 🤩.

I will be discussing a little more in depth on the various tech, plants and furnitures in future posts so do stick around for that~ In the meantime, feel free to leave any questions and comments below⬇️⬇️!
