Our client is a leading organization promoting global trade expansion by facilitating participation of Asian exhibitors in Messe München fairs worldwide. Launching the very first Southeast Asia trade fair for transport logistic - the world's leading trade fair for logistics, mobility, IT, and supply chain management which has been taking place in Munich since 1978, the show will be held in Singapore in 2023.

To develop a whole new look and identity for transport logistic SEA, we combined the key elements of the transport systems together with a digitized hand to symbolize the activation of digital integration with transport logistics in today's world, against the backdrop of the Singapore skyline where the show will be held. Our client is a reputable solar-powered lighting solutions provider based in Singapore with a mission to harness the abundance of natural energy for conversion to novel lighting solutions, going green on both the earth and also on consumers' pockets. With this in mind, a clean and minimalistic approach was applied, strongly accented with the brand's refreshing green color identity. No longer just housed in plain cardboard, the solar products were given a packaging makeover that brings out the key offerings in bite-sized information, at the same time enhancing the brand's presence.

Being a regular at supermarkets, I was taken aback when one fine day all of a sudden, the familiar orange green logo of Giant supermarket became a blob in bright green, with cutesy bubble typography of the brand's name plopped right on it.

Needless to say, first thought was did they rebrand themselves? Next thought, do I think it's a good rebrand? Well, this probably will take some getting used to, but beauty is often subjective.
